I want this place to thrive. I’m glad there is a vegan friendly coffee shop. I just wish they were more up front about ONLY being vegan. I was forced to have oat milk in my coffee. At $6.50 for a 12 ounce latte I won’t be back soon but I hope you’ll support them if you’re into the vegan stuff.

Excellent Bay Area specialty coffee with vegan food menu and enjoyable for anyone! The coffee menu had a handful of creative and tasteful signature drinks along with the classics. While in line I heard someone ask if the drinks were sweet and they kindly said “not St4rbux sweet” which is a green flag for sure to anyone who really knows coffee. They also offered that customer to make their drink less sweet if they were worried. I had my go-to iced americano to see how good their espresso shots taste since I was sure they were doing something right with so many other good reviews and my experience up to that point. The good vibes were there before I even ordered and that coffee hit too! The Avocado toast is on the fluffiest freshest bread with some sprinkled hemp seeds and chili flakes. I also opted for some chili oil and loved it! Super friendly service and a wait time that was indicative of the care they put into each order without having to wait too long! I wish I lived around here cause it seems like THE local community coffee spot I would be frequenting.

This place is out of this world. Most importantly, the staff are so personable that I love making this my stop whenever I can. This coffee shop is not on my normal path, but I don’t mind at all coming to be taken care of like this! They brighten my day and are so warming. Their oat milk lavender latte coffees and omega doughnuts are also amazing. Cute set up for outside seating, to enjoy your treats. Don’t let the vegan option only shy you away, guaranteed to find something you love. Win. Win. Win.

What can I say other than WOW? I tried the yogi waffle and the lemon blueberry waffle. Both were spectacular but the lemon blueberry was my favorite. Best vegan waffles in the east bay. Also tried the summer's dream toast (avocado toast with tomatoes and cucumber) and avacado dream toast. The summer's dream toast was delicious. Everything tastes so fresh, I cant believe I hadn't tried ROOTED sooner. There was a bit of a wait because it's a popular place, but there was a great outdoor dining area to sit and relax.

I stopped in at Rooted for a quick breakfast and coffee with a friend. Esa was amazing and patiently explained the ingredients and prep to ensure no gluten cross contamination for celiac restrictions. The avocado toast was amazing and it was a pleasant morning on the patio.

This is a very odd little gem of a café. Long lines for an experience of eating breakfast in a parking lot. No indoor seating in the establishment just in the parking lot. Very crowded at 10:30 on a Friday morning. Lots of strollers. Apparently this is the place to be. Gluten-free waffles and donuts is an excellent way to fill up a parking lot and we enjoyed it but it got to be so loud and chaotic with dogs and kids and strollers That we chose to take a walk around the neighborhood. I figured this would be a coffee house but instead they just offered drip coffee which was fine.

Rooted is the best place for a morning coffee, afternoon pick-me-up, or a coffee date with friends! The food and drinks are all so delicious. Plus, it’s kid friendly, clean, and always a happy place to eat.
