Went to Rodgers Ranch to volunteer for their open house. If you are into gardening this is a place to visit. A very good demonstration garden for someone who wants to learn about natural gardening and preserving our soil.

Rogers Ranch is a heritage site, one of the original homesteads preserved for our children, and also supports a local community garden. Great place to take a leisurely stroll.

We went for the harvest festival. They had a bunch of boots, 4H and animal petting, story time with Patrick, rope making, art, and the opportunity to wander the property.
