The Rock City Pie and Ice is tiny, byt mighty! It's not one of the large chains nor offers a large dining room, and it has the feeling of a small family own pizza shop. As soon as you walk into the place, you can smell and see the pizza they are making, and the staff will welcome you with a smile and right away can tell you how long the wait is for carry out. We ordered 2 pies (Cheese and Pennwood) and 2 different flavor ice. It said 1 pie will feed 1 to 3 people, and it's in rectangleshaped cut into 8 pieces. It also came with extra sauce and ricotta cheese on the side, which were nice delicious surprise. As I looked into the box on our way home, I questioned, is this enough for the hungry family of 3? Yes! As a matter of fact, it fed us for 3 days. The pizzas were super cheesy and flavorful. We enjoyed it so much, and we will definitely go back!

Best pizza joint in Broomfield! Jason has a great pizza business in operation and is a must try. Ordered the Chicken Parm dish and it was fresh and most flavorful with everything in it. I will definitely be visiting this place again, no doubt!

Only have gotten delivery so far, but has got to be some of the best pizza I've had in Colorado, definitely some of the best Detroit style I've had. Really good, and reasonably priced. The Italian ice is pretty solid too. Definitely worth checking out.

We went without anything in mind and were surprised by how amazingly delicious it was! The pizza comes in many different kind and we got pepperoni. I would recommend it. So simple and perfectly flavored.YUM!!

The best Detroit style pizza in Colorado period. Don’t even think about trying anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and come here. The owner is awesome. The pizza is awesome. And the Italian ice is a can’t miss. And added bonus, they have dairy free cheese if you can’t have regular. And it’s amazing.

Have had this a couple times since the initial review and while I still feel their sauce is a little bland every other critique I previously had of it has been amended. Great place, love their pizza order it all the time.

I really want to give this a five stars but, while excellent, I can’t. I’m a pretty big pizza aficionado, will go out of my way for it. Have travelled for it. Most of my reviews are for pizza.

So again, while excellent something was missing from keeping it a 5. I’m pretty sure it was the sauce and they went REAL heavy on the cheese. This might just be personal preference too. I’m an “easy on the cheese” kinda person. Their sauce though, it was pretty bland and somewhat watery. I think it was an uncooked sauce but was hard to tell after it was already on the pie. Like most Detroit’s, it was applied after the pizza was out of the oven. It wasn’t heated at all though, which is my second biggest complaint.

The pizza as a whole was still fantastic though. Their pepperonis were on point, crisped and cupped perfectly. It was loaded with them. There were even larger pepperonis underneath. If anything it was almost too much.

Their cheese blend was on point. The mozz, provolone, Wisconsin brick cheese blend crusted perfectly around a he dough giving it the signature Detroit style edge. Dough was a bit heavy but it’s a thick crust pizza so that was expected. Some are heavier some are lighter.

This is hands down the best pizza in the Broomfield area though so definitely give them your business. I’m just a pizza snob who loves pizza, loves to find it, loves baking it (IG: Pizzacocotte).

THE ABSOLUTE BEST PIZZA AROUND!!

I never leave reviews, but this place is incredible!! I'm a Michigander and have been searching for Detroit style pizza since moving here six years ago..... this place isn't as good as my favorite place back home... IT'S BETTER!!

I've ordered from there twice now and both experiences were outstanding.....Fresh ingredients, perfectly golden and thick chewy crust, expertly melted cheese, and the slight char on the top and edges adds the sought after Detroit style flavor and texture 🤌

I've had Blue Pan several times, and they fall flat compared to this place. Absolutely the best Detroit style pizza I've had in my life!!

The owner was so pleasant and thankful, and you can tell how passionate he is about his craft.

Treat yourself and family to this local gem next time you are craving pizza, you will not be disappointed!!
