Quaint small shopping mart. Not a lot of variety but I found what I was looking for. I didn’t get ‘warm fuzzies’ but this shop is in an expensive neighborhood (houses are upwards of tens of millions of dollars) which doesn’t typically equate with ‘warm fuzzies’. No one was rude but I was happy to leave. Worth visiting because this type of establishment is getting harder to find.

nearby Triangle Park has some benches and tables in the shade. Roberts has some very nice deli items. Makes for a great picnic lunch, better than any cafe I know...

Nice little grocery stores in Portola Valley and Woodside. The quality is amazing and you will find always something good to bring with you or for yourself. Quite expensive though, but friendly, clean and not crowded.

Cool little store. The main one is in woodside. This location might just have the slowest deli in the bay area. The product is not bad. Just depends how long it takes you to get it.

Great location, awesome products but there is a cashier who is extremely unprofessional. I have been to this store 3 times over the holidays to buy prepared food and other grocery items- the average cost was over $140 each time. Since I saw a new brand of coffee in the store (self-service) I decided to try it out in a small cup before I started shopping. This male cashier was doing a stare down with me and then following me around the entire store when I was doing my groceries with my husband holding my cup of coffee. When we were approaching the other cashier before check out he was telling his female co-worker to charge us for the coffee. First time I was in the store he told me that he would have to charge me for the coffee as if I ever asked him to give it to me for free. Seriously!!! I am spending almost $400 for my groceries from my 3 trips but was going to skip out on paying $3 for a small cup of coffee? He was chasing me down throughout the entire store probably leading up to a possible assault when I was actually trying to do my groceries. But this is another strange thing to point our that he threw away my receipts for groceries rather than handing it to me. When I asked him about the receipts multiple times he pointed at the garbage near his feet where he scrunched it up and threw it. Not sure what scam he is trying to pull here or what his issues are but the store needs to train him on some basic professionalism about how to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds and treat them with respect regardless of their race and or gender - a required and must have skill for any and all cashier(s).
