I haven't been yet but going to an October and hopefully everything will run smoothly. And I will be able to surprise my boyfriend with the most outstanding fishing trip ever. Hopefully adjust reading over your horn. Tire document and your fishing guides and everything. I find you to be the best hopefully. Can't wait to come out and fish.And we also are on the Friday where we get 10 limit fish to take home even if we didn't catch anything, both of us.Wow

Stopped in and lucky enough we go to catch staff moving fish into trucks. Got to get some information about the process. Best part we got fish food for kids to feed the older fish. We had a lot of fun. They have large campus and if season is right can see salmon spawning. They have public fishing ponds in the back. Worth visit and call ahead to see about feeding the fish.

Our family had a great time visiting one of Colorados best fish hatcheries! We got there just as they were about to feed the fish and they gave all the kids fish food and let them help. Please check out the hatchery and invest some time into Colorados wildlife!

Great place for adults (ie, experienced fishermen) and children alike. The staff at the hatchery are lovely and provide educational, age-appropriate tours. No trip to Gunnison/Crested Butte is complete for our family without stopping by Roaring Judy!
