We bought so many goodies here. They had interesting produce, prices were great, and everything was fresh. Sometimes you get everything home and you're disappointed, but not the case here. We were so pleasantly surprised at the good quality of everything we bought. And we bought A LOT!

We picked up some big, beautiful strawberries after our visit to the safari park. They were sweet and delicious! We also tried the ostrich jerky—it was weird! The prices were a little high but definitely worth it for the convenience and the berries. Friendly service too!

This big market in San Pasqual location and presentation is good, but fruits/ veggies are not so great, Roma tomatoes not sweet, strawberry so so, Grapefruit is very sour.
So 2 stars for now, may be I will give it another chance this year later.

I've been shopping here since my first trip to Escondido 20+ years ago. Fruit is so much better, and generally lower cost, than in any grocery store.

I found a couple of specials, little mangos, ripe peaches. I bought a garlic, celery, and 1 pint of strawberries for $5.00 watermelons were $15.00! I will wait until they are more in season .

Two words. Ostrich Eggs! They also have some of the best jerky and fine produce in the area. Be sure to stop by here to or from the San Diego Safari Park (aka San Diego Wild Animal Park)
