I avoided trying a Revel but picked up a Rail 29 recently and was very impressed. I have to say I am sold on going back to a bike that isn't crazy slack/long, while still having the same downhill capabilities. I hope they stay unique and don't follow the fads the bigger companies are doing.

After owning both the Revel Rail as well as the Rascal for over a year now I can say I am nothing but amazed at the ride quality and durability of these bikes. I have worked in shops for the past 8 years/ raced bikes my entire life. Revel has unsurpassed ride quality and is one of the lightest best performing bikes in my opinion.. all the way down to the smallest details things have been great up and downhill. Thanks Revel and thanks Matt in customer service for being of a service to the mountain bike community and local riders!

My family recently crossed over to the Revel side of the bike world. My husband and I both had the same things to say:

1st. BEST bike buying experience EVER! Combined we have bought more than a dozen high end bikes. Revel was not only a blast to talk bikes with. They were patient, positive and really good at listening. Cooper and Matt especially were solid in their knowledge and support. The crew let me hang out in the back while things were being fine tuned by Reed.. Reed's communication while addressing my bike was stellar.

2. I bought the El Jefe for multi day adventure biking; holy crap am I stoked. Not only can I lift it above my head with like 3 fingers, not kidding, the bike feels so alive and capable. I may even leave my bestie Juliana behind for most of my daily rides. My husband bought the Tirad and shared the excitement of riding a bike that feels so responsive; playful yet stable.

3. We bought our son the Rail 29. While he hasn't had a chance to ride it yet, we are blown away with the quality of components for the price we paid. It's a stunning bike and I can't wait to hear feedback from my son when he's in the downhill park.

If your considering a Revel, for the quality customer service alone, do it. They stack their bikes with great components and the price is right.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. First off, the R+ is a phenomenal bike. Confidence inspiring (and SO smooth) down chunky gravel descents, nimble and efficient going up. Secondly, the customer service is top notch. Though a small frame typically might work for me, it ended up not being a good fit and the replacement process to size up to a medium was a breeze. Communication and customer service was quick and efficient.

Best customer service I've experienced with any equipment brand, period. They fully stand behind their lifetime warranty on carbon rims. Also nice enough to bring it to Snowmass since they were in the area and knew I worked there. Awesome people!

As a long time Carbondale resident, I couldn’t be more excited to have such a quality bike brand call this great town its home. I recently was lucky enough to become a proud owner of a Revel Rascal. This bike makes me look much better than I am. The CBF suspension, the geometry, the carbon wheels, and the quality components. All fantastic!!! And the crew at Revel was so great to work with. They set my bike up just right, barely any adjustments after the first few rides. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This was my first, but definitely not my last Revel.
When I took my new Rascal to Fruita, my bike was getting a lot of attention. These are truly amazing machines.

Went to the Revel Bikes HQ and demo'd three of their great bikes on the wonderful trails of Prince Creek. But what REALLY stood out was the OVER THE TOP customer support and friendliness of everybody at Revel Bikes. They impressed me with the bikes, but the people are so SOLID that there's no doubt in my mind about why the bikes are so good. They are true MTBers who truly care.
