Visiting Rappe Family Vineyards was an unforgettable experience. Tom and Lorinda Rappe are truly wonderful hosts—warm, welcoming, and passionate about what they do. From the moment we arrived, we felt more like family than guests.

The vineyard itself is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and filled with charm. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply enjoy the moment.

What really stood out was the wine. Every glass reflected the care and dedication Tom and Lorinda put into their craft. Their passion for winemaking comes through clearly in the quality of their wines—each one top-notch, thoughtfully made, and deeply enjoyable.

If you're looking for a wine tasting experience that feels personal, relaxed, and genuinely special, a visit to Rappe Family Vineyards is a must. It’s more than just a winery—it’s like coming home.

Delicious wine. Thanks to my niece for researching this wonderful family winery. And, thanks to Tom, Lorinda, and their sons for making it special. Our three generations spent a lovely afternoon under the oaks, with misters overhead, overlooking the vineyard. The kids played in the creek and explored while the six adults enjoyed the delicious wines and wisdom of our hosts. When more of our family visit Auburn we plan to return and share the Rappe Family Vineyards with them. And, yes, we purchased wine to take with us. Yum!

Derby Day was a blast. The grounds are lovely the wine was amazing, the food was delicious,but atmosphere of the whole day was because of our gracious hosts, Tom and Lorinda and family. Yes, we highly recommend this winery as our favorite

This is by far the best winery in the area. The owners Tom and Lorrinda are so welcoming and make a point to talk to everyone that visits. I’ve never felt so welcomed at a winery. It’s almost like visiting family. The property is absolutely beautiful and the wine is to die for. You won’t regret visiting just know that you’ll probably end up not wanting to leave lol.

I went with my husband and our small maltipoo and the attention that they gave us was great! Relaxed envirorment, They also sell eggs of different colors! We loved the expirience there! 😃

We had a visit on Rappe’ Family Vineyard a few months ago. Their hospitality is outstanding we ended up staying at their vine tasting house a few days. My daughters were excited about the frogs in their pound and the irrigation system on the property. Tom and Lorinda’s years in the vine industry has given them the edge when it comes to their own harvest. There was no question regarding the industry that went unanswered. Their vine is just amazing, we will for sure continue getting vine from them in the future. Their wine is also great presents to family and friends.
