Rainbow Sprinklers is fantastic to work with. From the estimator who came and met with us to the office staff who coordinated the permit and scheduling to the installers. The whole team at Rainbow has been professional and responsive for over a decade. Whenever I reclaimed lawn to put in a new planting bed and the turf sprinklers had to be moved they came immediately and re-positioned those heads so my new garden thrived. Extremely disappointed with their service. They have sent a technician to quote a job with a promise to call back to schedule the work. Never called back, when they did call back they were going to charge me $95 for service call. I’ve told them no work was done yet. A different technician was sent to perform the job with no clues what needs to be done. He stated it would be unfair for him and me if he was going to do the job because he did not write up the job at the first place. I agreed with him, but a lady from their office called me and said the original technician was busy and he could not perform the job for a long time. I said to her, I do not want to charged for him time to investigate on what to do. She had agreed and promised to charge two hours labor only on the job to be fair. Now I am being charged 2 3/4 of hours and they are saying they have never said it and there’s no way they would just quote me on a fixed hours. This is nuts and it is not money after all, it is how they have handled the situation.

Somehow a winterizing appt was scheduled for our address. My husband nor I scheduled this appointment. This is our first year having this system since we just moved here from out of state so we would know nothing about needing to winterize the system. I called the office to inquire and was interrupted several times when asking questions. The woman just kept asking if we’re keeping the appt. I asked who allegedly scheduled and oddly there was no name, not even on the Rainbow Sprinklers account for our address. It would make sense to have added the name to the account when the appointment was supposedly scheduled. Was told there was a credit card added to the account for the appointment, also. So they took a cc # but added no name
Called during summer because 4 sprinklers would not shut off, called and had to leave a message, didn’t get a return phone call for days. Terrible service!

Rainbow Sprinklers is a very professionally run company. They have a very knowledgeable crew; Mike, one of their senior most employees, addressed a recurring issue with one of the sprinkler heads promptly. Mary the owner is very prompt in responding to phone calls, and is very easy to work with. I would recommend using Rainbow Sprinklers for any sprinkler needs. I would also recommend Hunter products over Rainbird; Rainbird sprinkler heads quality has unfortunately gone down.
