I'm writing a review to respond to the low review by Lee who questioned if the Bonsall location was open. It is! I've been going there to purchase crickets, mealworms, and other insects to feed my turtles for years. I used to have them delivered, then learned of the farm. This is a fabulous business!

Sent my insects in a bag most spilled but I got them picked up. They also left half my order out I bought meal worms and wax worms the wax worms were not sent. The person I spoke to said they would sent them out and use cups but nothing from them out the money. I recommend top hat crickets.

Does the Bonsall store even exist? I've tried the phone number and am only getting the Compton store which is not answering their phone or texts. In fairness to the Compton store, they are probably inundated with calls due to the heatwave cancellations. But if this Bonsall store is in operation, why don't they have their own phone number? Or if it is closed permanently, why does the website seem to indicate it is open. I live in San Diego and would appreciate clarification. Thanks!

Best price and amazing customer service.

I ordered 5,000 mealworms and they showed up all dead from a heatwave, I contacted customer service and they shipped me a new box of 5,000 mealworms free of charge. I will definitely be ordering from them again and will be recommending them to anyone that has the need for their products.

I have ordered twice from them so far.
My first order was great. Everything came nicely, packaged, and in a timely manner.
My second order the mealworm cup lid came off during shipment so about half the mealworms were lost . I contacted them and let them know. I wasn’t even expecting a replacement. Just wanted to let them know for future reference. They were very gracious and immediately offered to ship replacement mealworms to me, which arrived today.
I am extremely happy with their customer service and their products. I will continue to buy from them.
