This place was awesome. My boyfriend and I went for the first time and it was the perfect place to go. We both got a flight with different drinks to try. Everything was delicious and wildly different from one another.

The food was typical bar food, more finger foods than meal. But that didn’t bother us. The pretzels were good but the honey mustard stole the show. With it having more honey than mustard, it was my type of sauce.

The bartender was pleasant and easy to talk to. She explained each different type of mead that they had in detail and even helped us figure out what we’d want to try. She kept conversation fun and made the experience that much better

I’d recommend this place to anyone if they were in the area.

Had a tasty time at Queen City Meadery! We had two flights and a charcuterie board. We got to choose between three cheeses (quite the portion of cheese!). The simplicity was my favorite. Very honey and sweet. We will be back for some more flights soon!
Edited to add that their menu online is NOT up-to-date and they no longer have the two flights with cheese at a discounted rate. Call the restaurant for an updated menu.

Absolutely wonderful meadery with an INCREDIBLE selection of delicious meads to choose from. I recommend Simplicity, Barrel of Monkeys, Screaming Wench, Chai ME, Community Daze and Red Potion.

I am obsessed with Queen Meadary! I love the drinks available there and especially their flights of Mead. It's a great place to go and try something new and relax. The employees there are very knowledgeable. It cost $10 for a flight of 4. And you can take some home with you for a variety of prices.

Great assortment of Meads. Would highly recommend this meadry tucked into a Plaza in the Buffalo area. Great pretzels too. Staff is very nice and it's a beautiful tasting room.

As a person who never before enjoyed the taste of mead, I am overjoyed to say that I loved all of the mead that I sampled at Queen City Meadery, located in a strip plaza in West Seneca.

Looking for something new and fun to do on a Thursday night, my husband suggested that we try a flight of mead samples at Queen City Meadery. Knowing how much my husband loves mead, I agreed to accompany him.

When we walked in the door, Ken, one of the three friends who own the place, greeted us. Ken gave us a quick education about mead along with a little history of this "elixir of the gods." Produced from the mixture of honey, water and yeast, mead is the oldest alcoholic drink known to man. We were given a menu of the different flavors that were available, and we decided to each try four different samples. As a palate cleanser, we were treated to a bowl of delicious dark chocolates. Ken was very knowledgeable and entertaining as he talked about how he and his two life-long friends and current business partners, decided to name the fourteen choices available. Some are named after wives: Amy, My Lil Mule, Screaming Wench, and Peacemaker. There is one named, "I Told You So," because it is 13% abv, and if you have more than one glass, well, you've been warned!

This is a really cute little place where you can relax and enjoy some high quality adult beverages. There are tee shirts available to purchase, as well as an assortment of bottles of mead to take home.

I highly recommend Queen City Meadery as a fun place to catch a BUZZ!

Had a great time out with the best host in co-owner, Ken. He made my first time out trying meads great. They were all so distinctive and I enjoyed them all. Definitely looking forward to heading back to try more of the mead options in the future.
