I have been happily canning for over 40.years, from jellies to meats. Using ball and Kerr lids. So when I saw these I was needing more flat lids. So I purchased 6 plus boxes.
When I started using them... well i was totally disappointed. My ball lids sealed great, but right next around them the Pur flats crinkles and/or didn't seal. This was the same for pressure canner as with hot bathing processing. I will not use these again and all I can see to do with them is to throw them away. Unless your company would like to pay postage to get them back. Highly disappointed.

I have been canning most of my adult life and never saw this happen before. I went to pressure can some chicken legs and thighs. The first batch of legs only four of seven sealed properly. The second batch of thighs only one sealed properly. I have Never heard of that kind of failure rate. I got on the internet to look up if anyone else had problems and there was one review just one day before me that had the same problem! As well as older reviews with the Same Problem! This is unacceptable! You buy a product for it to work as advertised and then this happens. No I would absolutely NOT recommend this product!

I have used 100's of Pur Mason jars now, in my canning projects. They hold up very well and the all new next generations lids have a solid, tight seal. I also love the shape of the jars, they are beautiful. Pur Mason jars are my new "Go To" for canning and dry food storage!

I have can 56 quarts of potatoes in the past 2 days using pur regular and wides mouth lids. Every jar with the regulare lid on them i had to dump. The lid buckled and did not seal. I am not satisfied with this product and would not recommend

Made a batch of 13 jars of pickles and only one of my lids sealed. It was Ball brand, the rest were Pur. Never buying your brand again. Thankfully I can keep them in the fridge and not lose the entire batch.

I had some Pur lids I was having difficulty with. I contacted Pur and they patiently helped work everything out with me. They spent a considerable amount of their time working with me, and are going above and beyond trying to figure out why things aren't working right. While I have had difficulty with their product, I have to say their customer service (Rachel V.) is fantastic!
