To any property owners out there, please do not use this place to conduct legitimate business. There's a reason, why pmsi continues to earn a low rating on Google. On February 14th 2024 with a broken arm, I spent my time and money(salt, gravel etc..) making sure our driveway was safe.

That same day, the brookshire homeowners association along with pmsi totally messed up our driveway. My wife contacted pmsi during standard normal business hours at 4:30 p.m. To let them know. Throughout the day my wife, my son and myself with a broken arm fixed the mess that they created. They never sent anyone over to fix the problem. Then they charged us $75 for calling them at 4:30 p.m. Very lame?

I went there to explain what is going on today. After waiting there for about 10 minutes, I was told that there is nothing that they can do and that even though they charged me and sent the bill to me they have nothing to do with anything. A property management company, should be able to properly manage. I explained repeatedly in different ways that I expect the charge to be removed and a credit for my time and money that I spent to correct a problem that they started. I was told by the guy working there that he was busy and didn't have a lot of time. I explained to him that I am also busy and should be at work, but instead I'm there dealing with their mistake. He said; I should be at work instead of being there. I then proceeded to leave and came back to ask for additional information. While coming back, I can hear them laughing and making fun of me like it's a big game. So unprofessional. I let them know that they are lame. I highly recommend not buying a townhouse in brookshire, like we did. Especially if you have to deal with this place.

Lived in another development managed by PMSI and experienced how poorly they managed that development. New homeowners got together and elected new board members and things have gotten a lot better.
I recently moved into the Dove Tree Townhomes development and was relieved to discover this townhome is managed by a different company. The other side of the development I understand is managed by PMSI. Sadly it looks horrible. Weeds are growing on driveways. Trash cans stored on driveway and some balconies are use as storage places. Really really sad. And these owners pay good money for what. What is the board doing to ensure the rules of the declaration are followed? Maybe time for new board members ?

Can’t get ahold of anyone for months about filing an insurance claim on a leak we had in the house. The State Farm rep (PMSI’s primary insurance) even said they could not get a hold of anyone from the HOA/PMSI and left messages and contact info. When we did hear from the HOA they told us we had to start the claim but the State Farm rep said that is incorrect and keeps trying to get ahold of someone from PMSI. My husband stopped by the main office to see if they could help him and they told him to send an email to Krystal who we’ve been emailing for months and have not received a response. We’ve followed their protocol and still we’ve been living with a hole in our ceiling since February.

Bear Mountain Condos has a new well after *6 MONTHS* of non-potable water, though it is not quite functional as of this review.

I called to ask why it had taken them so long to get the ball rolling on drilling a new well and the woman who answered told me to go through my landlord -- who is, in fact, not responsible for this as she stated. She promptly hung up on me because I didn't desire to give her my unit number.

This management company also refuses to communicate with our landlord and overall sounds like they all have poor customer service skills. It's no wonder they have an F rating on BBB.

The well for the Bear Mountain condos that PMSI manages collapsed on Feb 12, 2023. Since then, they have made no effort to drill a new well and have been refusing to supply the units with sufficient water deliveries. Sporadic deliveries of 2,000 gallons at a time are supplied to a building that hosts 25 full units with adults and children relying on that for everything from bathing to washing to even flushing. This allows for 80 gallons per UNIT per day. When called, staff are rude and short with residents, refusing to even acknowledge that these living conditions are unreasonable for anyone to accept. As of today, we have gone 145 days without consistent water, and there is no end in sight.

This is the company who will not repair a roof home for this older gentleman, his roof continues to leak and damages the inside of his home. He just had to repair it, and paying all out of pocket. His insurance will not cover it because it will continue to happen if the issue is not fixed. Could he possibly sue the HOA and management company for loss and damages?

I am well aware how it all works but it is your job to manage the HOA and make sure they are complying with the declarations. If the residents are not responsible for the exterior which includes THE ROOF, then the HOA is required to fix it. Residents pay into it for a reason, and management should be making sure there funds available to cover such expenses. The fact the resident has insurance for what he is responsible for but the insurance won’t fix it makes perfect sense….why would they if the source of the problem is not being dealt with.
Had the same issues with mine… however anyone on the board, well their issues were always taken care of. God forbid the management company get fired. Lol such a joke.
You should also look at your reviews and make some in office changes clearly to is running this company.

PMSI has done a decent job with managing the major issues brought to them upon taking over the Condo Association I own a unit for, but what is good business if you have to compromise self respect or respect in a very general aspect?..

I’ve had one encounter (a call) with PMSI where I was so disrespected by Allison that I’ve been inspired to truly educate myself on my rights (refusing to feel helpless & like a victim). The passive/aggressive approach from Allison and her Manager Crystal, is a one size fits all. And I’ve done my best to justify being accused of making a threat (which I would never do) which was Allisons justification for hanging up on me( the disrespect). Since then, I’ve made two polite requests for copies of the call but have not received any yet.

For a property owner, it’s important to consider how you want the people on your property treated by who’s managing it. This is not a business I would recommend to anyone but it could be the people I encountered and not the business as a whole.

But they say, one bad seed can ruin a bunch!

For a property company, I pray this review makes it to someone high enough up to truly evaluate your employees and the way they are currently giving customer service. The people you serve (renting or owners) are real people on the other end of the call/email. We have real lives, questions & concerns. It is the property managers job to help, assist and educate. None of which Ive experienced. These two women have shown a lack kindness and professionalism.

This is just my personal experience.
