THANK YOU to the water department for taking the time to put a hang tag on our door alerting us to a water leak! I have been using the autopay feature for a long time and therefore would never have noticed a jump in usage. We were able to fix the leaks and hopefully save our precious resource. The new billing website is a joke and it's so un-user friendly. It used to be OK but now it's so un-user-friendly. As an engineer I can't figure out how to check my balance even though I have my old user log in information.

Complex, multi-tiered payment process. Truly a "Catch-22" auto pay system. You can't use it until you've used it. In addition - the water/sewer rate scheme is designed to punish people who save water (esp. the sewer rates) - and NOT transparent whatsoever. What other commodity/service do you use in which you pay a higher rate per/unit for using LESS?
