I have NEVER met a portillos that do not put cheese sauce on a beef when asked. No matter who I order with, my sandwich is NEVER as expected. The fries taste old and the shakes are light and airy. I don't understand why the shakes are light, like it's nothing but foam. When you bring up wrong orders to the managers, they don't fix the food, it's the same mess. I mention that I ordered cheese sauce on the beef and I am always told (mind you it is different people each time) that it's in the cup. BUT THAT'S NOT HOW I ORDERED IT SMH. I think if they properly trained cashiers how to ring up customized orders and cooks how to fix and prepare customized orders, it would be better. It shouldn't take several tries even with the manager's intervention to still end up with a wrong order. This is the only portillos I have had this experience with. Homewood, Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Chicago, Summit....no other portillos have these consistent issues. And by the way, that parking lot needs to be reconfigured cause what in the world is that....an accident waiting to happen.

40 minutes in the drive through and $65. 2 outta 3 combos were wrong. Missing drink . Sweet peppers were hard. Barely any cheese that was not melted.Complete waste of money. Bet if I went inside my food wouldn't be like that. I don't understand the hype around this place.

The cost of the food is slightly higher, but its delectable taste makes it worth visiting once a month. The cashiers consistently demonstrate patience and kindness. The only area for improvement lies in the occasional delay in receiving my order, which is sometimes incorrect. However, they promptly rectify the issue when it is brought to their attention.

I love Portillo's. The hotdogs and grilled chicken sandwich is great. Good fries. It is really busy here. I would recommend ordering food before 4pm. I feel after 4-5pm there is a wait. I have waited for food for 30 min a couple of times.

This location is very hit or miss, mostly miss. I’ve been here four times since September and will not return. One time was great, other times the food took way too long, as much as 50 minutes just for a couple burgers and fries. Last time it took 45 minutes and the order was completely wrong. The order taker also tried to pile on add-ons and toppings at cost that I didn’t request. Also, every time I’ve been here the place is very dirty. Most concerning is that the bathrooms have no hot water or soap. Eat here at your own risk.

The food seems to be getting worse? My regular big beef is smaller in portions, and the chicken tenders ugh. I will never get that again. Ever since they went corporate, it seems like the flavor dropped off the menu. They got rid of all the flavorful salads and put rubberized chicken in the tenders. They have so much potential if they emphasize on flavor!

I mean, it's a Portillos, not a Michelin restaurant. Being from Chicago and no longer living here, I do enjoy it anytime I'm near one. Placed a medium size order for pick up and it was ready about 20 minutes after they said it would be. Speed isn't their thing but thankfully food and cake shakes are!

If I had one complaint it would be this place is too darn busy, especially the drive thru, forget it. Other than that, what’s not to like about this place. The burger are fantastic never mind the hot dogs, best in the country! I used to love their garbage salad, would get one almost every day. When they stopped making them, I stopped going. I was disappointed to say the least. The cakes are great, so are the shakes. Salads are all good as well but I no longer eat them after they discontinued the garbage salad. I don’t eat beef sandwiches but I’ve heard these are great too. Fries are decent. This location is very clean as are the washrooms. Great staff, nothing but good things coming here.
