Ordered a 1/2 1/2 Hot Doug’s and Veggie Pizza (to be healthy of course). While it was just the two of us we got a large because it was just a few more bucks. Turns out the sizes match because there was enough pizza leftover for another person or two; would recommend if you want leftovers like us.

The pizza itself was awesome, flavorful and delicious, always get Hot Doug’s!Paired with their brews and it brought the meal together! The wait staff were busy working but were always attentive and really made our night. The place is loud (especially if you sat next to kids/babes) but it makes sense because the pizza is great for families, couples, and everyone in-between.

Would come again and be completely stuffed with good pizza!

We ordered the Hot Doug’s Atomic Sausage Pizza, and from the first bite, we knew we’d hit the jackpot. But we didn’t see what a night and experience was going to be with the food!

This red pizza features a thin, crispy crust that’s both light and perfectly sturdy, giving each slice an incredible base for flavor. The pepper jack cheese melted smoothly over the crust, bringing a subtle spicy creaminess that paired beautifully with the toppings. Nice atmosphere to watch sports. Could definitely see this place being packed with nicer weather outside.

Ordered the hot Doug’s atomic pizza. I was intrigued with this as I’ve never had pepper jack cheese on my pizza but was quickly disappointed as I couldn’t really taste it. The sausage and onions were alright. Crust was very floppy and the entire pie was drenched in grease. Also, I chuckled a little with how uneven these slices were.

While the pizza wasn’t the best, the carrot cake was excellent. The cake was so moist and light. Also, the nuts and raisins were sparse which I prefer in my carrot cake. Finally, the cream cheese frosting was good but there wasn’t enough.

Good atmosphere and dessert, not so good pizza.

Been 40+ times.. Usually amazing and is still my favorite pizza.. Today was an off day.. super sloppy pizza (too much sauce = wet and cheese slides right off). Sever was barely around.

As a native Chicagoan (lived there 50 years before moving on), I have strong opinions about pizza. I'm old enough to remember old fashioned 1970s deep dish pizza, and the 1990s emergence of the now more popular tavern style pizza. And I like them all.

But my favorite Chicago pizza is not really Chicago pizza at all. It's the New Haven style pizza served at Piece Brewery. Whenever I'm in Chicago, this is always one of my first stops. It is one of those places that's just perfect, and I hope it never changes.

I always get a red pizza, with added clams and garlic. Yes, I said clams. Don't knock it until you try it.

Piece is also noteworthy for being one of Chicago's very first brewpubs, going way back to the beginning of the modern craft beer movement. Their beer brewed in house is still pretty good, and goes great with the pizza.

Every trip to Chicago includes a stop here for their incredible pizza! My all-time favorite is white base with bacon and mashed potatoes for toppings, YUM! Also, we always have fantastic service here

One of the original Chicago Craft breweries! The Weight is my go-to beer here, perfect APA. We got the pizza that was on special, it was to benefit Paws. Charrred Polish sausage works exceptionally well!
