If you like pickles then it's a must stop. Just off the freeway. Contrary to a couple of posts by the same family, the selection is good! if you ask, the ingredients will be happily given. No you don't get samples and if you expect that then you have lived an entitled life.
Jams and preserves available too. We left with a couple of jars to try. The gal that helped us was very friendly.

Absolutely love this little place. A bit off the beaten path but worth the drive. Honestly, it's some of the best pickles I've ever had. Highly recommend the sweet and spicy granny's blend. They have a variety of blends to choose from though. I wish I lived closer. I'd stop in all the time.

There honestly isn't much I don't absolutely love from this little place.
The Italian Garlic is probably my favorite, and I have to stop myself from eating the entire jar in one sitting.
The pickled artichoke and green beans are tasty also.
They have a good assortment of different kinds of pickles, as well as salsas and jams.

Stopped in at the rustic but cute Pikes Peak Pickle Shack on our way up to the peak. They have a large assortment of pickle flavors and degrees of heat, plus many other jarred vegetables. We bought a couple of jars and the owner is very nice. Fun quick stop on the way to the top.

We were really excited to visit the Pickle Shack, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing due to the rude behavior of the woman behind the counter. When we asked if they offered samples, she curtly replied that she had stopped doing samples and would never offer them again. While it was a bit disappointing not to try the flavors beforehand, it wasn’t a big deal—but her attitude was unnecessary.

We decided to browse anyway, hoping to find something to support a local business. When we asked about the flavor profile of the pickled veggies (whether they leaned more sweet or salty), she dismissively responded, “Well, they’re all pickled.” We’re fully aware they’re pickled—we were just asking for more detail.

Throughout our visit, she made additional rude comments that left us feeling unwelcome. Her unhelpful demeanor, combined with the fact that the pickled veggies we purchased tasted unpleasant and stale, made for an overall bad experience. Sadly, we cannot recommend stopping by.

Amazing flavors! We got the granny’s hot sweet pickles, double dill and black bean and corn salsa! The granny’s aren’t super spicy which we loved. Can’t wait to try the black bean and corn salsa later tonight!

Every single item in this store is delicious. It’s overwhelming how many choices there are but you can’t go wrong with any of them! The double dill and the Granny’s hot sweet pickles are some of the best pickles I’ve found and I make it a point to try out any good pickles I can 😂. This is worth the drive down from Denver alone 1000%

My son happened to stubble into this great store, and bought home the best pickle garlic. So finally he took me to the store and it was pretty cool. I would recommend a stop by if you’re in the area.
