the school doesn't really care about their students like they say they do its nothing but a big fat lie I'm at living at the dorms at phoenix job corps center and best believe that I tell everyone the full truth about this school. but overall my experience here was the worse mistake I've ever made but I needed somewhere to stay but theirs more to the school by the way the school has Roches and they can't cook, and they always giving us students uncooked food we have so many students complaining about food poising and getting really sick and now the dorms you don't even wanna know its even worse but thanks for listening to it.

Some of these "professional staff" members have to go back and retrain. They are disorganized, they aren't on top of things, they lack any sense of professionalism. Not only that but the fact that there's been stories from people who attend this facility that are mostly negative, it raises a lot of red flags. Especially with health violations or other types of violations that are occurring in this facility. If there is a way to report this and get it immediately investigated I'm sure the staff and the environment would become drastically better. There needs to be rules set in place that won't be constantly changed and altered. Keep in mind, minors and adults attend this facility. For the safety of the students it's best to make a lot of positive changes here.

Ms Juanita is the ONLY good thing about this school. I wouldn't have stayed as long as I did in that program if she didn't try her hardest to get me through it. They kicked me out for an on campus suicide attempt and didn't care that I was then homeless from that point on. DO NOT BRING UR KIDS HERE

As a parent, I don't recommend THIS job Corp. They treat these young adults like they are doing 25 to life. They treat these young adults like they don't have parents that love them and want to visit. I go and try and visit my kids and the security guard starts yelling at them right in front of my face like I wasn't going to say something. The things I hear from my kids and their friends are unacceptable. The fact that they make the rules up as they go are not ok. I don't know who to talk to about this but best believe I WILL find out.

Update: My daughter did medical Assistant and they never gave her an extern site. They had her looking for get own. She was calling and calling and got no where and that's when I stepped in and of course they didn't like that. They didn't want to talk to me and when I tried to give her the phone they wouldn't talk to her. This job corps center needs to be shut down and they need to be retrained EXCEPT Ms. Kathy. Since enrolling my girls she had been helpful.

Was wonderful when I first started out, helped me get my high school diploma, job certifications, and driver's license all for free. Just needs better maintenance and less of the close-minded staff who are unwilling to listen to their students and their rightful complaints, but the few sweet staff there are gems. My student morale was high, but it quickly drained as the military-like rules became more suffocating.

Former student here, great staff. After a year revisit after graduation was very helpful and kind to welcoming me back. Very thankful I got my certifications and got an actual career job in OA!

In Fall of 2023, I enrolled into their CNA Program. Turns out they had not informed me beforehand that the program wasn't accredited by the Board of Nursing. Therefore my time spent there led to no progress on my certificate for many months. I eventually left and went to a University run Nursing program but I feel like I was a victim of false advertising by this center.
