They are very friendly, have great prices & a fantastic selection! Definitely go by! Store isn't as large as Rudy's but their selection is well chosen. The new items we have tried so far (that we've never bought before) have been outstanding! We like sweet wines and flavored wines such as Rieslings, Moscatos, etc.; And flavored vodkas. Hubby likes imported beer, German & some Mexican and Japanese......darker brew. Don't think he's checked out their beer selection very closely yet though. Just based on what we've purchased though, either they worked in the industry before opening the store and were already knowledgeable about their product or they research their products and sample them themselves before adding them to their inventory. Everything has been really good and actually, I think some of the wines we wound up going back for more to give as gifts! There hasn't been one so far that I wouldn't purchase again! Give them a try! Definitely worth it!

Peru Liquor is new to the Illinois Valley. I have been there several times since they opened. Staff is helpful and always friendly. And I find, they have the lowest prices around.

Returned a U-Haul here got charged extra $400 because the lady working couldn’t copy my mileage down correctly. Then she got mad at me for asking if we can write something down for a confirmation that the mileage was wrong. Think she had too much to drink today.
