I absolutely love the Italian varietals here at Pelletiere Estate. After a short trip to Italy, I wanted to find that same vibrant culture and flavor back home, and this winery delivers. Their Nebbiolo is a rare gem in the region—rich, smooth, and bursting with character. The Lagrein is equally impressive, offering a delicious depth and spice you won’t find just anywhere. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian-inspired wine experience without leaving Paso Robles, this is the place to go!

Janis was nothing less than amazing! It's not often the estate owner is your host! What an honor to not only meet her, but to get first hand knowledge and insight into the winemaking process. You can tell this is a person who takes an enormous amount of pride in what the estate produces. We were so impressed we happily joined the wine club!

We had a lovely visit to Pelletiere Vineyard. Janice, the owner, educated us on her wines and how she got started in the business. It was a very enjoyable and unique experience. The wines are very old world style (specifically Italian) which will go wonderfully with your next home cooked meal.
If you're tired of the large, glamorous tasting rooms, visit Pelletiere for a more personal touch. You won't be disappointed.

We had the most delightful tasting experience with Janis at Pelletiere yesterday upon our arrival at Paso Robles. Her presentation of their unique single varietal wines were way beyond our expectations. Our faves were her Viognier and Lagrein, although every taste was a hit for us! Our first night stay was really great as well, and check in was a breeze.

We have been members of the Pelletiere wine club for a few years now and have enjoyed their wines a bit longer than that. As a girl dad, I'm especially inspired by this female-owned and operated winery. However, that doesn't mean much unless the wines are good. Well, I can honestly say the wines have gotten better every year. I am super excited for my next shipment and I'm not at all surprised by the multiple 90+ point reviews. Cheers to Janis & the whole crew!

Now my favorite winery in Paso! Not only is it woman-owned and woman-made wine, but the focus on Italian varietals and the craft in the wine is incredible! My guess is that this winery is a little overlooked because of it's lower yield and less-known name. It's also unique in the region simply based on the types of grapes and wines it produces. It's a total gem, the owner in amazing (and funny!), and the wines are the best I had over the weekend of tasting. Elegant, subtle, complex, and without the "showiness" of the usual California wine we're all used to. This will be my regular stop from now on.

We had a great time at our Pelletiere wine tasting. They are a smaller, family-run winery, so are able to offer a more personal and intimate setting than larger operations - which we really enjoyed! I would recommend to anyone looking for nice Italian wines in a comfortable, authentic environment.
