Excellent market with tons of niche gourmet products and great staples. I found my favorite aioli that I haven’t seen anywhere else in Chicago. And the turkey we ordered from here for thanksgiving was exceptional!

We live downstate and every trip to Chicago I try to stop here and grab some good sausage for cooking. A Tasso ham to flavor soups etc, and if you are making gumbo, the hillshire farm andouille sausage is not going to work. You need a real butcher shop and this one is as good as it gets.

The German long wieners taste authentic and everything else I have tried so far is fresh and absolutely delicious. Order online and pick up is easy and the smell inside reminds me of going to the butcher in Germany with my grandma when I was a kid.

PLEASE BECAREFUL - THE SUB SHOP CLOSES AT 5PM!!! THE STORE CLOSES AT 6PM. I was not aware of this and drove all the way here 😭 However, its still an amazing place! So they deserve 5 stars

The meat and selection is great but I strongly recommend against buying their gift cards, which they do not honor outside of specific circumstances. It’s sad that businesses feel the need to come up with convenient excuses to cheat people out of the money they paid. As far as I’m concerned they owe me $100. They collected $100 from us but then refused to credit it to the attempted gift purchase. I guess they thought the gift was meant for them!

A for sure “if you know you know” place. I wanna give a special recognition to the their staff who are all delightful. They are super knowledgeable and very friendly. Especially Jackie who help me cut the line this Xmas season in a mad house when I only needed one item. Pays to be a regular. Also sometimes they will be hosting local vendors which we love to see.

Great selection of house made and smoked sausages. They have harder to find items like wild boar as well. Was able to get everything I needed for the weekend bbq even hot links which are a bit out of season. Great friendly service as well.
