Bought Nigiri sushi box on 1/13/25 w exp date 1/14/25. It had almost no flavor in the tuna or the rice. Also the rice was unusually dense. Then, for 24 hrs had unquenchable thirst and horrible taste in my mouth. I figure the sushi contained large amounts of some nasty chemical to hide its lack of freshness.

Friend local grocery store. Nice selection of meats at a reasonable price. Pastries are reasonably priced. Groceries are priced a little higher than larger box stores. However, you will not receive the same personalized and friendly service.

This place is like an IGA owned by a -franchise Mom and Pop. Selection is good because of the extra products you don't see very often, like horseradish pickles! Love this place. Prices are on the upper side of competitive and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Pat's Marketplace definitely reminds me of Uncle Giuseppe's, Stew Leonard's and Kitchen Kabaret. What separates it is the location. There is a wide array of cheeses when you walk in to the left. The delicatassen and bakery are both a substantial size. There is a gelato station. What really caught my attention were the prepared salads, cooked food and seating at the exit. Normal everyday items were priced higher than you would find at a average supermarket chain.
