This is one of the largest farm stands in Schoharie County. They just added a new large greenhouse. While it's still early in the season I was still able to buy some really large heads of lettuce. My friend also used them last year to purchase flowers for her wedding and they were wonderful to work with! You can tell that a lot of hard work goes into what they do. Quality produce and really folks!! What a fun place to shop for an old fashioned Christmas Tree too!!! I love their lettuce! They are huge and last all week!!

We have been stopping at Parsons for years, as we pass by in the summer to go to our camp. Today we stopped to look for pumpkins and grab a few vegetables. I was greeted with a warm smile and a hello from the farmer and an offer for a free sample of cider donuts. The farmer said we could pick a pumpkin from the available ones at the farm stand or we could go out to the field and pick one on our own. They have the biggest pumpkins I have ever seen. When we cashed out, the cost was surprisingly low for 2 giant pumpkins, and told me all about the varieties of pumpkins he has out in the field and then he thanked us for going out and getting them ourselves. Take the trip out to Parsons, you will definitely be glad you did. We are going back in 2 weeks for a few more. Make sure to bring cash.

Little road-side farm stand. Decent prices and they also have yogurt from Ithaca on the cheap. Stop-worthy if you're hunting for locally grown food.
