The recent upgrades on some poultry houses in Sevier County were contracted out by Parrish Equipment. I have never ever seen more poor quality work done than by the crews that Parrish sent out to handle this work. Thousands of dollars and two years later and I am still having issues with these upgrades. With each new batch of chickens it’s a guessing game as to what is going to happen! It’s a safe bet that if something breaks or doesn’t work properly it was a job well done by Parrish Equipment!

Sevier County and the surrounding areas are being hit hard by the poultry disease known as LT. Iodine is used to treat it. Parrish Equipment is charging almost $30 per gallon for iodine. Thank God for Southeast Feed and the Co-op! You can get your iodine there for $22 and $20. There’s no need to let PES gouge your wallet for this necessary treatment. I’m so glad that at least on somethings PES isn’t the only game in town.

I do need to be fair and say that the guys in PES are great! Very friendly and helpful! Really great staff and it isn’t their fault that PES have high prices and the subcontractors do poor work when they are called out to the farms.
