I love the old downtown area. A few years ago I was looking at a foreclosure but the real estate agent wanted way too much information for a cash purchase. I'm happy to see you making things open and posted to all the public now. Except now certain people are broke from being unemployed from those good jobs.

A 2 yr old lost part of his finger on their poorly designed sea saw. They had no remorse took no financial responsibility. Why did they remove the sea saw if they felt it wasn’t faulty. He has to live the rest of his life with part of his finger missing on top of all the mentally embarrassing ridicule mean things people can say ask and do along with emotional physical challenges he has to endure all because of a machine that should not have been accessible to anyone. My heart his mothers heart everyone’s heart still hurts from this. Too painful to remember and see the awful pain he endured that day and challenges he still faces while just trying to enjoy a nice day at the park. Enjoying the parks will never be the same especially that park. They took no financial responsibility at all. No amount of money will ever replace the pain and challenges, would have been nice to show and offer some kind of kind gesture Where’s the humanity from this company. Happened approximately four yrs ago and is still very painful. Hurtful to see him pretend the other finger is missing just to match the one that is missing, painful to know he has to write with the non dominant hand because of his injury. Or to say my finger got cut off from a sea saw. How would they feel if this were they child or relative. Wish they had handled this better then they did. Also they property taxes are ridiculously high

Park Forest with my hometown long time ago when there was Marshall field Sears Fannie Mae a theater it's very sad to see everything closing down the gangs and drug dealers taking over but the police and the village are on it no they're not sadly they turn a blind eye money talks can you get told 20,000 different conversations when you try to talk about the issues with Park Forest the schools are on friendly and welcoming unkind dangerous because of drugs and alcohol as well as bullying the staff at the schools decide that they're going to be the parents and take your parents rights away and wonder why parents go off and the police need to be involved they shut down theaters and other things for the children to do and wonder why they break into houses and cars as well as loot and steal from stores to the point that the stores have to close if the police department would step up and build a child step up everything would be nice again
