It is hard to put into words how perfect Allie, Kurt, and Osmica were for our wedding. Our harvest themed October wedding was everything we could have envisioned and more, all of the "more" due to Allie and Kurt. They were so wonderful to work with, from planning the space layout, using their recycled decorations, incorporating our homegrown produce with their homegrown flowers, it was all so beautiful and sustainable.

The touches of the converted milk barn resonated with our families and our farming background. The grounds provided so many beautiful locations for photos, kids to play, and enjoying the perfect fall day.

Beyond just the sublime reception, what we reminisce the most about from our wedding weekend was the stay at the farm house. Allie and Kurt provided extraordinary breakfasts from their gardens, great conversation about food preservation and tips for our own homestead, and the ability to relax in the hot tub.

We loved Osmica, Allie, and Kurt. We would highly recommend having any special event here, the space is perfect and you'll be able to create the best memories.

Osmica is a dream! Allie and Kurt are gems and helped make our wedding so very special. From the beautiful property to the fun yard games, gorgeous renovated barn and hayloft to the lovely overnight we spent at the B&B, it was an occasion we'll never forget. The space is flexible to have a ceremony indoors or out, space for live music, ample dance floor real estate, and the loft can be set up in different configurations for whatever suits the event.

Allie used flowers from the property to adorn the tables while Kurt managed catering deliveries, and they were amazing with set-up, tear-down, welcoming guests, and so much more. Allie communicated with us clearly about making sure we had the proper paperwork filed for having beer and wine on-site, and details for making things run smoothly on the day-of.

We booked a night at the B&B which was so fabulous - they've renovated the farm house with such charm and character, many things being up-cycled - and breakfast we had the next morning (with ingredients from the farm!) was scrumptious. We highly recommend Osmica for your wedding, or any special event!

We hosted our wedding at Osmica, and we could not be happier with our choice. Allie and Kurt went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make sure our weekend was exactly what we were envisioning. The farm-fresh breakfasts each morning of our stay were absolutely incredible, as well as the pastries that Allie made for us. They were wonderfully helpful in making sure we had everything we needed on the day of our wedding and helping to make sure all the extras we wanted were arranged and taken care of.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. You can see the love and care Allie and Kurt have poured into the farmhouse and the barn to turn it into the most magical setting. It is the perfect farmhouse chic setting. And since it is a working farm, there are gorgeous flowers and scenery around every corner. We can't recommend Osmica at Spring Trail Farm enough!!

I don’t know how else to say this: There is not a single reason to NOT have your wedding here. Allie and Kurt are the most wonderful people who own the most wonderful venue. The property is really quite spacious – the barn is big enough to hold basically the entire wedding and reception from start to finish (in case of bad weather, which thankfully we did not have!) and the grounds between the barn and the beautiful house are big enough for a large tent, outdoor ceremony, lawn games, and plenty of people! The vistas and views of the cornfield and hills are insane, enough to impress our guests from California, Hawaii, and Germany! The two of them put clearly so much effort into the details of restoring the barn and the house, and that labor of love is evident throughout the entire property in a way that really adds to the day. You can stay in the house during your whole time there which is great because it means you don’t have to worry about arriving and leaving on your wedding day. We had the property beginning on Friday and hosted a great pizza night for any of guests who would be in town. The morning of our wedding (as well as the morning after) they made us a fantastic breakfast with ingredients from their garden. The house we stayed in and got ready in is beautiful and very comfortable to stay in. The vendors all loved the venue as well, and everyone worked together to create an absolutely ideal wedding. Allie and Kurt will be there every step of the way working with you and your vendors to make the weekend go smoothly, and they are always there to offer their help in decorating (they have tons of fresh flowers, lanterns, you name it). Almost everyone who came to our wedding told us that this was the best wedding they had ever been to, and that was in no small part thanks to this amazing location and these two great people.
Pros:
-Much more affordable than many of the other venues in the area
-The venue gives you so much flexibility with how you want to design your day and setup your décor
-You can stay on the property in a beautiful remodeled historic home with some amazing breakfasts and a hot tub
-The VIEWS
-The barn is big enough to have a large wedding ENTIRELY inside in case of weather
-The owners work incredibly well with whatever vendors you will set up, are incredibly responsive to emails and will do much of the handiwork the weekend of your wedding as well as setup and takedown.

You will not regret hosting an event at Osmica! I worked with Allie and Kurt to plan a lunch for my work and beyond the property being absolutely stunning and incorporating everything the Finger Lakes is about, both of them were so incredible to work with! They were flexible to last minute needs, very communicative and just went above and beyond in every way to help us execute an incredible experience!

Wow, where to start? My husband and I were married at Osmica last month and it beyond exceeded our expectations. Kurt and Allie went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and how we wanted it all weekend. From putting together a gorgeous rehearsal dinner in the hayloft, to bringing my vision to life of hanging our custom neon sign, to quietly solving countless day of challenges that popped up so that we didn't stress (dealing with missing items from our rental order, filling in additional decor items, jumping in to help set items up), they were the pillars of our whole wedding weekend. It truly would not have come together the way it did without them. In addition to that, we stayed in the gorgeous renovated farm house and were treated to amazing breakfasts with food straight from the farm each morning. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts and we can't wait to go back to celebrate our anniversary!

We held our wedding here at the end of September 2023 - it was a fantastic venue with a beautiful, rustic setup with useful, modern touches!

First, I need to start with the proprietors - Allie and Kurt. Our process began more than a year before the big day - we were able to communicate remotely and even got a video FaceTime tour before even visiting the property which was super helpful as we narrowed down venues. Leading up to the day, Allie was always super communicative and open and that made us feel at ease as we tried to plan from afar. On the big day, Allie and Kurt made sure everything ran smoothly in the background and everything went off without a hitch.

Second, the cottage - part of the wedding package is a 2 night stay in the cottage and my only small critique is that I wish we had been able to spend MORE time there. The grounds were lovely, and Allie and Kurt have done a ton of work updating what clearly is an older house into a modern bed-and-breakfast stay. It was a very comfortable couple of nights and we were greeted with a farm-fresh breakfast every morning, utilizing a ton of the produce from the grounds itself.

Third, the barn - we had been targeting a "barn/farm" wedding experience and Osmica did not disappoint. One of the biggest factors for us were the modern bathrooms that meant we did not have to rent porta-potties. Other than that, the space is very well-appointed with a separate bar area, separate dance floor, and loft that we utilized to be a little refuge when people just wanted a quiet moment to themselves. Allie again came through with multiple floorplans that we could have picked from and made sure we were able to accommodate our different vendors in comfortable spaces.

Last but not least - the grounds. I did not explore as much as I wanted to due to the last minute planning and running around but all of our guests had a lovely time.

Our experience with Osmica, Allie, and Kurt was phenomenal. I am certainly no professional wedding planner but Allie and Kurt made our day go by without any major hitches and their friendliness to not only us but our guests was especially appreciated. I am certainly not hoping to have another wedding any time (ever) but I do hope to go back to visit one day! I am sure Allie and Kurt will continue to build out and update Osmica so it is an even better venue than it was in 2023.

We hosted our son’s Bar Mitzvah party at Osmica in May 2024. Allison and Kurt were amazing hosts, going way above and beyond to help us plan and execute a very memorable event. The barn could not be a better space and the rest of the property simply stunning. If I could add more stars I would.
