I want my steak house back!!! If tacos and beer are what you want it's yummy...but this has been a fantastic steak house all my life, where people came from miles away to enjoy a good steak and great atmosphere...the new owners still haven't taken advantage of the possibilities ? It seems that they don't realize that they purchased more than just a bar.

We were the first customers of the day and only customers during our visit.

The staff was super personable, almost like visiting a family members house. Service was fast and accurate!

I ordered an Angus Byrger with Green Chillie, it was perfectly cooked and tasted AMAZING!

Thanks to the staff!

This place has gone down the drain. We didn't even order food as they had no air conditioning, and beer was warm as hell.

Tasty food in a neat little town. I had the steak salad with jalapeƱo ranch, which was good. They have menu options in a pretty wide price range from $9 burgers and fries to $28 steaks.

Tip: they also have a case with neat little antiques and vintage things like the old budweiser can I'm holding.

Food took over an hour to get to us despite assurances from the waitress, manager and bartender it would be out soon. We were even told it was taking so long because the hamburger patty was 1lb (this was a lie). Half of our orders were luke warm when they came out, but tasted decent.

So today's adventure was taking the wife out for her birthday dinner and we stepped outside of our normal chain Stackhouse meal and drove up to Oracle, Az to eat at the Oracle Inn Steakhouse (The OI). Great food, love the classic ambiance and the staff was attentive and well informed about menu items.
Well worth the drive for a great meal!

We went to Oracle intending to eat lunch at the cafe' across the street, but it did not look inviting, and parking is terrible. We ended up at the Oracle Inn Steakhouse. Again, it did not look particularly appealing on the outside, but it has a huge paved parking lot. We walked inside and immediately felt relieved.
This historical restaurant is clean, welcoming, and comfortable. We both had awesome cheeseburgers, and the sidewinder fries are amazing! The service is great too. It is under new ownership, and they are diligently working to update and repair. The patio bar is cool, and the outdoor fireplace is a nice touch. Saturday nights they have great live music. The menu is limited right now, but the variety of items should appeal to everyone. We will be back with 25 or more of our friends at the end of the month. It will be a regular stop from now on.

We were there in the mid-afternoon on a Sunday for a couple of beers, so this is a review just of the Sunday afternoon beer-drinking experience at the bar.

The service was pretty good. It was nice and slow so the bartender paid us good attention, checking if we needed refills as we finished our drinks. Though there was a shift change while we were there and it took a while for our new bartender to check in.

Unfortunately, all of the draft beers that everyone got tasted like the lines really badly needed to be cleaned. I couldn't even finish my Dragoon IPA because the taste was so off. I credit them for their selection of draft beers, but I suspect that they don't get enough draft beer drinkers to go through kegs quickly enough. As a result, the beer gets a bit old and the lines get a bit dirty.

The ambiance was really great. It really felt like stepping into the old West. Really great photos on the walls and a really charming building overall. We took the wrong entrance, into the restaurant instead of the bar, but this allowed us to walk through the whole place which I really enjoyed.

As my in-laws are moving to Oracle and this seems to be one of the few places that serves beer in town, I'll certainly be back. However, I'll opt for a bottle next time.
