Absolutely lovable with great food and great staff. Gives a great and personal dining experience, unlike some eatery chains. Would absolutely recommend their Braised Fish, which served on select days. The spaghetti, with or without chicken, is so close to a home-cooked dinner. Their lemon-chicken soup sides are as comforting as they get. Desserts are all great, but the humble and simple rice pudding would get a special recommendation from me. Oh, and if you're ordering salads, go for their greek dressing - they are awesome!

Old school style cafe with amazing food, service and atmosphere! We have come 2 times in our time here at Buffalo. Walking distance from airport 15-20min walk. If your flight is delayed like ours instead of spending some hours in the airport come check this place out. The service and energy is so welcoming and efficient. Food comes out in 15 minutes tops and tastes amazing. I’ve gotten a western Omelette twice. Will come here more often if I was able to. Emily was our waitress both times and she was great! But I’m sure any person working here will take great care of you they’re all very nice!

Visited this lovely restaurant for a family meal and the staff really made sure we felt apart of their family. Once our party was assembled, our party of six was promptly set at a spacious booth and our server was right over to us. The menu has something for everyone to enjoy. Our cheerful and knowledgeable server took our orders promptly and we received our meals just as prompt. Everything was hot and delicious.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and service, looking forward to go back!

A great traditional diner, nice service, varied menu with several Greek and Italian specialties.
We stop there for lunch a couple times a year on our trips from.Albany to visit family in Pittsburgh. Food has always been classical comfort food. Service is always prompt and very helpful.
But today the owner, Kelly, did something truly special.
I had accidentally left my purse there (I was distracted due to a death in the family). Today Kelly tracked me down (there was a luggage tag on it), and called me.
We drove back there from Albany and got the bag back.

Stopped here for an after-funeral luncheon with 15 adults + 3 children; because we reserved the space we were seated immediately with menus; once settled in, the wait staff began the process of taking beverage orders and answering questions. Orders were taken quickly, the food came out quickly and hot and was very good-- everyone was happy, in particular my 4 year old grandson said that the Olympic Restaurant was "The goodest diner!" High praise indeed from my grandsons who are no strangers to diners. Our servers, especially Emily, were exemplary given such a large party. I definitely recommend the Olympic. PS: try the Baklava Cheesecake!

The best blueberry pancakes in Buffalo! A hidden gem by the airport. The staff are friendly and the food comes fast. Any of their breakfast items is a good choice. Fair prices too

I am extremely confused by the number of positive reviews. Let's look into this

This is an appealing restaurant visually. It is a classic diner with some really unique touches. It's all downhill from there.

First of all, the other reviews are right. The managers or owners (both?) are verbally abusive to their employees. I'll never go back for that reason alone. the only reason I stayed was because I wanted to make sure my waitress got a tip. She was clearly having and was going to continue to have a horrible day.

You could hear the kitchen staff being absolutely berated like they were working a prison kitchen or something. So, two things with that. First, how can you expect them to perform at their best when they're being screamed at their whole shift? What kind of leadership is that? Cooking is art. You don't scream at a photographer that's taking your picture. They know what they're doing. Second, if they weren't making something correctly, and you were correcting them, then how is it that what came to the table was still beyond unacceptable?

That leads me to the food. I'm going to keep it super simple because there's not much else to say. You cannot call this a greek restaurant. That was not Greek food. That was....idk what that was. Probably the worst restaurant in western new york that I personally have eaten at. Anything fried is so greasy you could paint a picture with it on the table, the vegetables are not visually appealing and clearly just came out of a bag and are not fresh. The meat, all of it, you can tell was frozen and thawed, or cooked from frozen. Nothing is fresh, nothing is made with love.

Being in this establishment for more than 5 minutes gives you chills down your spine just like entering a dark, damp, unfamiliar basement in the middle of the night.

To the owners: Shut it down, or sell it to someone who cares and still has passion for what they do. You have NO right to be running a restaurant and hiring staff with families and feelings. Your food is heartless and your vibes are toxic. I actually felt angry driving home and that's the first time i've ever had that feeling

Great food, great service, great prices! The lemon chicken rice soup is amazing. We took some home for tomorrow too. The open gyro souvlaki was good and a large portion. I forgot to take any more pictures 😄
