This new specialty meats and seafoods shop is an outstanding addition to Tuscaloosa. I have had great experiences working with both the charcuteries and meat experts. In fact, I decided to give dear friends a gift box for Christmas this year instead of my usual online/mail order store. I was most impressed with the speedy response time when I sent a DM on Instagram. They were very flexible with what I wanted and gave great suggestions for accompaniments. Then I was WOW’D when I picked it up! I highly recommend them. I’m a very satisfied customer!

Generally great quality meat. Love the variety of interesting/non-traditional things you can get. All in all, pretty reasonably priced too. Sometimes they can skimp on the trimming a bit (Occasionally I will buy a picanha and find that the fat is thicker than the meat underneath).

This is SUCH a great addition to Tuscaloosa. Twice now I’ve worked with Bobby at the store to order specialty meats for new recipes I’ve wanted to try, and he is always incredibly helpful and communicative. I love knowing I have a great local resource for good quality meats with friendly service.

We purchased sirloin steak from this place. Turned out to be the worst quality of meat. We prepared it the same as we have always and we’re very disappointed and a bit grossed out. The meat had a grey gritty substance with a liver consistency while other parts were med rare. One and done.
