I love the history of this area, especially the actual schoolhouse. The events held at the schoolhouse are fantastic, as well. There is an art gallery inside and an outdoor amphitheater. I love the Mother's Day Plant Sale/Swap Meet and the various festivals.

Nice space. I attended the 25th annual Yuba Watershed Fungus Foray here. Well kept and loved structure. It was a little small for the size of this get together, but it worked really well for presentations.

We went for the 37th annual Storytelling Festival. It was great to see and hear professional storytellers from around the world! They kept us entralled for hours!
The North Columbia School House Cultural Center is a wonderful calming place where good people get together to share smiles and support each other. The forest around the area is great too!

Nice rustic and casual wedding venue. Sloped lawns down to a sweet amphitheater. There's a hall, and the wedding i went to had tables outside for the meal. Lovely, low key and easy to find location. It is pretty rural, and the road to access it is definitely a winding road! But it's paved so no real problem. The elevation is high enough that i would pause before scheduling a winter wedding, but i loved it for the fall wedding i attended.

Such a great multi purpose venue! From the outdoor stage to the front lawn and back up into the old schoolhouse this place has got some history! I have been coming here for all of my 36 years and now I get to bring my kids here to watch amazing shows like the Story Telling Festival!! Great productions from a wonderful staff. Love it here!

The Storytelling Festival was great, well organized & run. I appreciated the tellers. Could have had more food choices and at less cost. Parking was a bit of a problem but I'm sure it is being worked. Attend the Storytelling. Enjoy life.

I have vended batiks during Ridgestock in the past and recently attended as a music fan. Lovely lil amphitheater under the trees with many shady spots. It's an out of the way venue worth driving to.

Sierra Story Telling was so great! First time going, although I guess it's been an event for 34 yrs!! Plan on going again next year. Do recommend bringing own chairs so more comfortable sitting for hours, between breaks. Very low key and easy going fun.
