Traveling and want hospitality with very good food and quick service?
Stop here. You've been to all the fast food restaurants. You're due for hometown style food without the run and go. My wife and i are enjoying the atmosphere.
The place is "clean" with room to feel relaxed and not rushed.
If you don't try it, you will end up a bit more stressed at that chain stop.

We were really hungry and needed to eat before diamond hunting. Started looking on Google for places on the way and came upon Norman's. It's located at a truck stop and looked like the locals frequent. Our server was super, answered all my questions, and made sure mayo didn't get anywhere near the hubs 44 Burger. I got the country fried steak sandwich and holy moly.... it was huge and delicious... lots of mayo for me. The Cajun fries were crispy and seasoned well. I really wanted cake with peanut butter icing but had no room. Inside is your normal open dining seating. Every day, you can get 1 meat and 3 sides for $11.99. You can't beat that price. Good experience, and I would go again.

An excellent choice if you like made from scratch local diners! I had the ham, egg, cheese breakfast sandwich and asked if they would substitute the mashed potatoes and white gravy for the fries since it was lunch time? They happily obliged. My husband had the western omelet with toast and grits. I’m a sweet tea critic and it was great! The restaurant is clean and the local after church crowd rolled in about 12:10 always a good sign in my books❣️ OTR truck drivers steadily made their way in as well. VERY reasonably priced especially in this day of high restaurant prices. The restaurant as well as the bath room were very clean.

It had been a few years since we had been to Norman's, and it was better than ever with some upgrades to the interior look. My husband took me for a late breakfast date, and the food was great with very reasonable prices for portions! I even had enough left in my to go box for my teen to eat for lunch. The waitress, Hope, was extra helpful regarding my dietary restrictions and options after I asked a question and in general. All around great experience!

Food for dinner was cold, but good. I got the special and you could hear it being warmed up in the microwave. It was very good to taste though. The restaurant is very clean and workers are pleasant, they don't smile at all, but they are nice and do a good job. Went back for breakfast. It took a while, but it was worth the wait, very good. Employees were the same. It seems like a cafeteria. It's too quiet. They need dimmed lighting and background radio or TV. You're afraid you will slurp too loud and you would be disturbing your neighbor it's so quiet. Parking for semis is wonderful.

Overall the place is a 5/5. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The only thing that stands out is that the food took a little long even when not super busy but I’m not sure how many cooks there were. The food was good and the sweet tea was sweet! I would come back and try this again.

The remodeling has been done for a few, and I still appreciate them doing it.
No more stale cigarette smell! (I quit smoking back around 08 I guess)
Food is hot
Atmosphere is "trucker" like
Floores are clean.
