We ordered chilaquiles verdes with bistec and Bistec Encebollado con Nopales and let me tell you they do not skimp out on the portions. The food was flavorful, the staff was so polite. Great price as well, two meals and two agua frescas(tamarind / watermelon) we're $36 in total.

I discover this hidden gem a few months ago and have since visited a bunch of times. It’s become my to go place for authentic Mexican tacos and sopas. Everything they make is delicious and tastes as if made by someone’s grandma. This last time, had their pork pozole …. It’s probably the best one I’ve had in NYC. Their burritos are humongous and their tacos are great. This is a must visit if you like Mexican food.

This place is not your typical restaurant. I was a bit confused at first as I didn't know the restaurant was at the back of the deli. It appears to be a family owned store and restaurant combined. The people are super friendly and the food was amazing! The fruit drinks were so refreshing! The prices are pretty decent also. Definitely worth every buck!

Surprisingly really good authentic Mexican food in the hood. So glad, we went inside to check out. Tacos, beef soup and quesadillas were really good! The owner and cook were also very nice. Can't believe we never checked this taco joint before!

The steak didn’t have much flavor and was too fatty for my liking, grilled chicken was good; nothing special. Chorizo was delicious! It wasn’t oily at all and had a nice kick to it.

Literally the only place I trust to get good Mexican food (coming from a Mexican). They always have so much on their menu, but almost none of it is lacking in flavor. Really authentic place with no overly fancy or super expensive dishes. I usually order delivery, but when I do dine in, I'm surprised by the amount of seats and tables they have hidden inside at the back.
