Don’t be fooled by the outer appearance, Moonraker is akin to waiting in line for a ride at Disneyland. Upon entering through their doors, you are surrounded by aging barrels and a small seating areas. The low lighting makes it feel like you’re in an aging basement by candlelight, which romanticizes the experience. Walking back toward the brewery, you pass by one set of restrooms(the entrance can be approached by either side, both near mirrors of the other). The restroom was also dimly lit. So much so that I actually turned the lights off because I thought they weren’t on. I laughed to myself and rather enjoyed the 30 watt restroom.
Exiting the restroom leads to the actual brewery, filled with tanks, some with huge labels of art attached to them, signifying which beer is being brewed. Turn and you’ll find the bar and menu. They have a large selection of beers, IPA heavy - which is great for IPA fans like myself. There are plenty of other offerings, so if you aren’t a fan of IPA’s, don’t be discouraged. The quality of IPA’s are amazing as well, with many rates more than four out of five stars on Untappd. In fact, Moonraker is possibly the best rated brewery from Sacramento to Aurora.

If flights are your thing, they offer them in four packs, perfect for trying their incredible lineup. However, it may take a few visits to taste them all.

I have been to hundred of breweries and Moonraker has the best merchandise by far. The t-shirts are pricey, around $25, but the quality of tee and artwork are worth it. And to be fair, EVERYONE overcharges for t-shirts. I’m in a band and make my own t-shirts, so I know the cost that goes into it. But then again, with the quality of the artwork involved, they are probably paying local artists well for their logos and labels.

There is a HUGE outdoor area for enjoying your beer. It is covered and wood themed. A food truck is available. This day pizza was the local offering. There is also indoor seating.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Restrooms were stocked and clean. The vibe of this brewery is amazing, offering more than just beer.

Definitely one of my favorite breweries in the state. Beer is consistently awesome, people are super nice, kinda has a funky in a cool way atmosphere. They have had some pretty good food trucks there the times I've been as well.

Dog friendly (5stars right there) lol. Great atmosphere. Large enough for small get togethers and parties. I believe they also have a private room for larger events (by reservations). Patio heaters too. Seems to always be a food truck there as well, and of course, always good beer on tap.

We had our rehearsal dinner in one of their private rooms and it was a great experience! The communication and booking was straight forward from the beginning. They provided us several options with many different price points, which is great for people with variable budgets! We were able to bring our own food which was nice. Would definitely recommend for private parties!

Best Cesar Salad in the area! Love riding my motorcycle here and seeing all the doggies in the outside area. It always feels like a big family picnic at this place. Love it. I just wish they had more non-alcoholic choices for beverages.

This place is great. We are from Napa. Our very limited breweries are pretentious and uninviting. We are laid back folks and this place hit the spot for the two days we were in the area. Very inviting. There was an awesome food truck that hit the spot as well

Went for a family member’s birthday, multiple members ordered food. My husband and I ordered food for us two and our toddler around 5:20 and by 7:30 no food had come out. Had to go speak with a waitress and tell them we wanted a refund for them to pack up our food that was cold at that point. I don’t understand how they have food served inside their kitchen and they do not serve it to the customer. Completely disappointing to experience this, I had never waited 2 hours for fast food in my life and cold.
