Great beers, good vibes with live music on a Saturday night. I was recommended Salutations pastry stout by the beer tender and it was great! Definitely exceeded my expectations.

I left CA many years ago.... maybe I'm just accustomed to the friendly service in the South...

I expressed my ignorance of IPAs (the majority of their beers are IPAs) and what I think I like... it was NOT busy, and I wasn't holding up a line.

Instead of engaging me, asking questions, the moderately smug service was a turn-off.

I finally said, "You choose one for me. Just not Hoppy-Bitter."

Luckily, I did like the beers.

I come to Nor-Cal frequently from work. I had hoped this would become my "Cheers". There are so many more places to try where I hope the staff isn't annoyed by questions and where they are more engaging.

OK customer service. But when a regular gets in line behind you and gets "cuts" to be served before you, unacceptable. Good selection of beer. Food truck, got the wings and onion rings, were so-so. Very self serve and not worth it. Wings were the same thing with different sauce plopped on top. (And not very good, garlic and BBQ). Lots of other choices in the area.

I've been coming here I think for over a decade. I'm double the legal drinking age so not exactly used to getting carded. Tonight I came in with my Driver license (which apparently just expired but still has my photo and date of birth on it as I'm waiting for DMV to send my renewed license). The guy behind the counter in a surprise move carded me. I smiled and pulled out my license and he turned me away because I didn't have my renewal paperwork! He said it's the law, which I countered with, "no, the law says I have to be 21, it says nothing about my license being current... is there a manager that can come verify I'm legally allowed to have alcohol? The license still states who I am and that I'm old enough, and is simply my authorization to operate a vehicle on CA roads and absolutely not required by CA to drink. He replied that there is no one above him to speak with. He was super sarcastic and kept ending every sentence with "thank you." I didn't ever raise my voice or draw attention, but after about the 5th "thank you" said, "you can stop with the sarcasm." Which he followed up with, HAVE A GREAT NIGHT. I told him if they can't make a reasonable judgment call, I and many friends who frequently come here will never come back and I will leave a poor review. He of course replied with a silly cruel grin and said, THANK YOU. I silently walked out, bewildered and sad he chose to fulfill his ego rather than serve customers. If this was some large chain restaurant, with a lower level employee scared of getting in trouble, I would be super empathetic. However, not letting me speak to anyone else cuz you have a god complex?... now I actually hope your business suffers b/c you don't deserve our hard earned money. I called back in and asked the manager's name and he said it was Paul. If I have the energy, I'll email Scott the owner and share my experience. Or I may just not ever return since there are literally so many better options nearby (which I immediately went to without issue).

I'm in NorCal for work and this Brewery is right down the street from my hotel. I decided to do a flight of the following: Snappy the Lager; New Things Experimental Kolsch; Smugglers Mug Imperial Sour Blonde Ale; and First Crack of Dawn Imperial Stout. Very impressive! I thoroughly enjoyed every pour I sampled. The Smugglers Mug is off the charts amazing! If you find yourself in Rocklin CA with time to spare, please check out Moksa! Great people and amazing brews!

A large selection, but not much variety. Nothing to munch on until the food truck arrives. Only counter service which means waiting in line. When I asked for one on the board, they opened a can! Forget about it. There are better places in town.

Absolutely loved my first time going to Moksa Brewing Company. My buddy and I decided to camp out for the fourth anniversary event. I made it and got my wristband at number 14. It was only a matter of waiting until opening at 11a, which was a really pleasant experience.

This was my first time trying stouts. I will admit they were a bit of an acquired taste but it grew on me, especially the double aged imperial stout (vanilla beans, coconut, and hazelnut). My buddy grabbed a big bottle of that and justly so. The really mature and subtlest notes of the drink stand out even after you've shipped long ago.

My first impression of stouts came in line when I tried on that "made me feel like an old man" haha

But Moksa made it very pleasant to grow up and refine my palette, so psyched to grab a limited edition banger today (Sunday). Cheers!

A 'local brewery' the way a local brewery should be. Relaxed atmosphere, bold and unique beers, friendly staff. Great taco food truck. I wish they brew some more malty browns, reds, ales, stouts. A belgian brew would be a great adder, too. Surely recommend to visit and will come back myself, too.
