The food was a solid 5. The vibe and atmosphere is why I gave it a 4. I really enjoyed the quality and taste of the food. Digested really well and felt healthy and hearty. It was really loud in the kitchen for a bit like loud construction was going on or food prep of some sort that made the experience less enjoyable and made me want to put my headphones in to drown out the loud/unpleasant noises. I’ll be back since the food items are often gluten free and of higher quality than most places around the way. Staff customer service quality was alright, nothing to rant or rave about in that aspect but the food is solid! Definitely will say this is some of the best quality food around this section of Boulder!

Healthy food options. I only put three stars for service and atmosphere because it is pretty much a self serve restaurant. You order at the counter and take a number and for me the atmosphere is functional. I really love the buddha bowl. It is packed with flavor and good veggies. The portion size could be a little bigger.

Man, this place has went downhill. When I first moved here, I went here everyday. Different locations of course. But I stopped when I pulled up 30 min before they closed and they denied me.
I waited about 6-7 months before trying them again. And I walked in. No more sweet potato mash? No more boiled eggs? No more soda?

Unfortunately because I liked the food. But with cava and chipotle next door. There are better options. Two years ago this would’ve been number one. Now no where close.

Not a fan of the latest menu. A decade ago this was my favorite fast-casual eatery, but now it's pretty middle of the road.

This location is fine, staff is friendly and it's usually not too busy here.

We’ve been to Modern Market a number of times and always love it. Everything we’ve had has been fresh and flavorful.
We came this time for a fundraiser night for my daughter’s gymnastics team. We ordered the Thai Coconut salad and Lemongrass Tuna bowl - both were delicious.
I also had wine, which was terrible. For $3 a glass you shouldn’t expect much, but this tasted very watered down. I’ve had it before and it’s never been this bad.
We also ordered the cranberry oat cookie, paid for it, and were then told they were out of them. My only option was to choose another kind. So I ended up buying a cookie I didn’t want. At least some of that money went to support the gymnastics team.

We've eaten two excellent breakfasts at Mod Market, including the Rocket sandwich, Colorado Burrito, the Brekkie Bowl, and the Super Berry Oatmeal. There were very few people in the restaurant with us at 8:30am; hopefully word gets out so they keep serving it.

--- Dinner ---
Our vegetarian family of four ordered a wintergreen salad, three-cheese pizza, blueberry pesto sandwich, a cup of the butternut-cashew soup, and two sodas (from the all-Boylan dispenser, nice). All items were excellent, as were the customer service, courtesy of the staff, and cleanliness.

I love the fresh veges and perfectly cooked chicken at Mod Market. We tried the 3-cheese pizza and used it as bread to dip in the farmers salad... wonderful!
Next Visit- I don’t usually like Salmon, but WOW! This is really good, and the Brussels sprouts are amazing. I need to move closer to Mod Market... but it’s worth the half hour to get here👏
