I had an unpleasant interaction with the parts manager / sales guy Steve in Leesburg.
Here's the odd thing... I live near Kansas City. I ended up purchasing a Branson Tractor that I purchased in Kansas. The tractor exhibited a problem and I took it to a Missouri dealer for warranty repair.
The Missouri dealer tried to fix it, and made it worse. Then they tried to fix that and it became catastrophically bad. What should have been a three day fix turned into me now going on seven weeks with my tractor.
I got online for the TYM website and started searching for a phone number. Their "contact us" page only has an email sort of portal.
Numerous attempts to Reach TYM / Branson went unanswered. So I tried to contact the Branson Rep. Also no luck.
My perspective was that whether or not I had gotten bad service from one particular service shop, the buck ultimately stops with Branson Tractors.
So.. I posted a detailed description of my frustration on the facebook TYM / Branson page. I didn't make any inappropriate or disparaging remarks. I stayed purely on facts, and kept emotion out of it.
Here's where Steve comes in. I got a PM from Steve asking for a conversation. He sent me his business card, and I assumed that he was going to help me navigate this problem.
Nope. He accused me straight out of "creating a problem" and for "blaming Branson". First, I didn't create the problem. The problem is the overall top level customer support model for Branson. Secondly, heck yes I blame Branson. As an end user with a tractor which has been out of commission for 6 weeks+, my warranty is with TYM, and for them to not return my communications is not acceptable. He then told me that he had people calling him up to ask about this situation.
It was clear to me that the "problem" I created was that he was now needing to defend Branson to his customers.
He asked me more than once to delete my post. I told him that as soon as my tractor was repaired, I would do so, but not before.
I did not appreciate being called up to reprimand me when he has absolutely no skin in my tractor investment.
Again, I posted no demeaning or false information about Branson.
Shortly after this, I found that my membership in the Facebook TYM group has been removed. I would bet dollars to donuts I know how that happened.

These guys are amazing!! Hands down the best service ive ever had. They have done every single odd job I've ever brought them. And in an exceptional manner!! I have not bought anything from them implement wise but they treat every job I need done like I'm their best customer. Couldn't speak more highly of them.
