I love this coffee shop and enjoy purchasing their products as well. I trust their selection of products.
My experience last week was excellent. The lady was very friendly and very nice.
However, I was disappointed with my experience this week. The lady looked unmotivated and assisted the customer behind me before she took my order. I mentioned that to her and she did not care about it at all.
I left there and went to other coffee shop and had a wonderful experience. I wish them to improve customer service quality levels. Thank you

My absolute favorite spot on the uws to grab a coffee, croissant and read my book. The staff is lovely and super friendly (and their local farm fresh milk and eggs are incredible). This place has all around good vibes (and conveniently close to central park a MoNH)

A charming coffee stop that also doubles as a healthy, organic grocery store. They have indoor seating, making it a nice place to relax. The coffee is good—I actually ordered a matcha, and it was surprisingly delicious. A great spot for a quick break or a healthy shopping trip!

I'm really bummed that they changed their loyalty program. It was the only reason I popped in versus going to Starbucks. Most of their stuff is super overpriced. The layout of the store is constantly changing. I dont know if they have a relationship with Pop Up Bagels but it was always annoying to see a family of four eating their bagels at one of only three tables while only one person in their group sipped on a coffee. I would order a coffee or snag a loaf of Bread Alone, which they were frequently out of simply to earn points towards my eventual free drink. Now, all you get is 10% off a future purchase. Cool, can't wait to save $0.65.

I went into this store this morning (1/3/25) with my toddler in a stroller. We had 15 minutes to kill before the nearby museum opened so I bought a hot drink and pastry. As I scanned the store I saw that all the tables had someone sat at them and there was just one high stool available against the window. I asked the barista if I could briefly use the empty table right next to the cash registers. He (young man) was polite but firm that I couldn’t as it was used for setting out fresh produce. He then asked a woman sat behind me, working on a laptop to confirm. She replied that I couldn’t use the table with no further explanation. So I accepted it without any protest and sat down at the high top stool. As I sat down, another woman with a child in a stroller walked up to the laptop lady and asked to use the spare chair at her table, which she then placed at the ‘produce’ table, that I was told mere moments before that I couldn’t use. The laptop lady saw her sit down at the produce table and said if she would prefer she could also sit down at her table. I was sat less than 3 feet from both women.

This is a store that my family and I often go to, but this morning’s incident - brief though it was has left me feeling that the staff were being discriminatory. I write this review in the hope that someone from the store reads this and reflects on how even small incidents like this can make customers feel not welcome. I don’t feel comfortable returning to this store.

Me and my friend found this cafe and we love it! The coffee is great, the almond croissant was delicious and it has a variety of organic products. I really liked the service. I will definitely visit again when I'm in New York again. Thanks guys! ❤️❤️❤️

I don’t appreciate the layout for when you buy coffee. The table in which you’re supposed to prepare your coffee in is too small, drinks get lost because they don’t ask for your name and baristas are just putting the drinks on a table while there’s a line to put milk/sugar/etc on your drink. We were bumping shoulder to shoulder with other customers and everyone was grabbing each others drinks because of the confusion. The coffee doesn’t meet the expectations for a coffee of that price point. Overall, if the coffee shop had a better layout I’d give them another try.

We decided to visit Mast Market when we were in the UWS having a day exploring the neighbordhood. Since I used to live here lots of new businesses have opened up and this is one of them! Mast seems to be a coffee shop, home goods, and small grocery store all wrapped in one. We decided to just get coffee. I got a medium black coffee which they gave you and cup and you helped yourself at a self pour machine. All other drinks are made by the staff at this location. Overall a very modern and well kept place. I'd consider coming here and hanging out with a friend and/or working here for a day as well. They also have an outdoor area to hang during warmer weather as well!
