Wonderful place - first sampled their fruit tarts at a local business fair. We came here on a weekend morning for cold brew coffee and an almond croissant which were delicious. Place is very neat and nice inside. It smells amazing when you walk in the door. Display cases look great too with so many options. It can be overwhelming at first but if you just walk alongside the display, you will find something you like. They have different combo meal discounts. There are salads, sandwiches, bread loaves, and lots of pastries plus lattes. There was seating on the rooftop although we did not go. Staff were very polite and quick to serve us. We will definitely be returning.

The pastries here are truly exceptional and taste authentic. I was very impressed with the quality and flavors. The service was also friendly and efficient, which added to the experience. The coffee was decent, a good accompaniment to the pastries. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a sweet treat.

The bakery is good, and the juice is really tasty! It'd be great if the sandwich size was bigger! Every time I eat, I still feel hungry.

A very nice and welcoming environment. The food does feel right for the community it's in. And everything about the theme and the service fits the community as well. It has rooftop seating which is also a good change.

This definitely was a place with 5 stars rating of food, quality of products, taste and freshness of baked goods, friendly staff, nice location, neat and well maintained store, attractive prices. When i was there 2 weeks ago the place was completely closed. No more business. No Marie Blachere logo, No more bakery there. It is just gone. So sad.

Our friends recommended us the Marie Blachere location in Manhattan and we visited the Great Neck location on our way to Garden City. The decor is wide-spaced and cozy with a lot of indoor & outdoor seating. The environment and ambiance is perfect as a place for breakfast or afternoon tea.

Their pastry & bread options were various and we had 4 different pastries: Almond Croissant, Sugar Brioche, Blueberry Scone & Cinnamon roll. The pastries were overall not memorable and the price was kind of high with its portion in our opinions. Our favorite was the Sugar Brioche, which is soft & puffy but the delicacy of its texture wasn’t comparable with our other go-to bakeries.

We bought a baguette, almond croissant, chocolate croissant, a tranche of apple & peach puff, savory croissant with smoked salmon. The almond croissant has generous amount of filling. It could use a bit more almond flour. I think they used almond extract, a bit of almond flour & some starch to thicken the base along with some butter. It's better than the French Workshop. The croissant is flaky.
Had the baguette the next morning. Toasted it & put apricot marmalade on it. Crust is still crusty & center is still soft & moist, although it's not as flaky as I remembered from Paris. The center is still too dense but still retains the character of a good baguette.

OMG....I made my first visit yesterday ro check out Marie Blachere and as soon add I stepped through the all glass front door, my senses were wowed by the smell of baking breads and looking st all the tasty treats. And best of yet, I think that their prices are amazing as well!

After walking around and taking it all in, I decided to try their pizza, which was delicious, even though I expected the crust to have more of that crunch texture.... not enough to take away a star however. What I really wanted to dig into were the breads that just looked out of this world amazing with a crusty top that you can just die for. The Croissants looked amazing as well. Many of the items are buy 3 get 1 free.

The tarts looked amazing as well and their sandwiches are tremendous and a great deal at $7.

Now my problem is... how many troops will it take for me to try everything!!!@ Yum Yum!
