Well managed store in a key South Loop location. Parking can be a little bit of a challenge if one doesn’t want to park inside, but there are usually plenty of spaces inside. Great to have a Starbucks in the store!

Nice grocery South Loop of Chicago. Starbucks & Stan's Donuts inside. Smoothie counter. The Apple Ginger Zing smoothie was delicious. Make sure you have their Rewards card for the sale prices. Ask cashier. Most of their employees are professional, attentive and nicely dressed. Ready to help you find an item or pricing. Some others .. not so much and blend with the public. check out the produce, bakery, deli and cheese & meat areas. Plenty of parking too.

Good location, although I did walk into the store closing within ten minutes. So for anyone else out there, that may be attempting to shop and not peruse, like me, phone first. Pay no attention to there regular business hours listed. This location closed at 6pm sharp. Merry Christmas Marianos!

You would think as much as they over charge for groceries they could afford better carts.

They also don’t have baskets anymore. Not sure why. So you have to use one of their raggedy carts even if you’re grabbing a few things.

This supermarket is simply bad. They try to sell Expired stuff for like $1 less, that includes past due meats, nuts, butter, yogurts and much more. So many times I’ve come home to realize that a product I just purchased was dated six or more months back or even worse, I once got walnuts from 2022. (As of 12/13/23)
This situation is concerning for a large number of reasons, mainly health.

Being Celiac poses issues to eat on the run! There is always GLUTEN FREE GOODNESS in a BBQ GRILL & SALAD BAR! I thoroughly enjoyed my Peppered Burger Salad!

I was staying at a nearby hotel and needed a few things. This was a short walk and had everything that I needed. The fresh squeezed oj and fruit bowls were a pleasant surprise at a great price too.

Some sections at this grocery store are better than others. But food that expired 3 years ago?!

I spoke to the manager and he said that they will get a new shipment in the back on Tuesday. But I didnt see him add it to an inventory request platform, nor did I hear him ask an employee to remove the expired items from the shelf.

I don’t want the area to lose another grocer, nor should one of my neighbors get sick from expired food.

If you’re a consumer, please remember to check the expiry dates on the inventory at this location.
