I had a wonderful dinner here after learning about this place from Reddit and Google Maps. Food was good (I got the schnitzel), service friendly, and prices fair. I took a picture of the menu for folks that want to take a peek.

The chef meets the diners, the hostess is friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious with servings that are not overwhelming. The chocolate peanut butter pie was the best I have ever had. Do yourself a great favor and go to dinner here. You will love it!

Ate the shweinshaxe and the New England clam chowder. Both were delicious! The shweinshaxe fell right off the bone, cannot wait to come back here!

My wife and I met another couple here for dinner as we had driven by many times and never stopped in. I ordered the Oktoberfest special which was two German dishes along with German potato salad and it was quite good. My wife ordered the scallops and said they were delicious. Our friends also ordered a German dish along with Chicken Marsala which I kidded him about (given the German theme), but it turns out it was quite good. We enjoyed the lemon mascarpone cake for dessert and our friends had the rhubarb pie... both were wonderful. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. My only recommendation is to up your bread game...maybe those small pieces are a German tradition but we all commented they were too small. We will return another time to try some other items.

So for a small old school restaurant in a small town, this place isn't bad at all. I mean, you can't expect it to compete on equal footing with the restaurants in NYC or Charleston, but surely you don't find your way to this area for that purpose. If you're like me, being around this area for tourism purposes, then this restaurant will certainly suffice. I actually enjoyed their rabbit special. And the pumpkin soup was nice, it was slightly on the sweeter side, which I actually liked. Servers were great. That have indoor dining and also a small outdoor patio.
Side note, you should ask them why a Latin American-sounding restaurant is serving German cuisine (among other things). Interesting short story.

Wonderful food, fabulous wine list! Waitress was knowledgeable and quite personable! The atmosphere is great for any occasion, but nice enough for a very special occasion too!
My boss and I were sharing an air bnb in the neighborhood and were surprised to find such high quality in such an out of the way little town.

They are only open for dinner, so we made reservations for 5:30 on a Thursday. The parking lot and restaurant were pretty empty when we arrived, but the place was packed by 6:00.
Some of us got German menu items, and others got grilled scallops, chicken Marsala, and bison dishes. Since it's Octoberfest, they had several specials and actually allowed us to mix and match their German menu items, which my husband did. Their menu is fairly extensive, so you'll be able to find something for even your most picky eaters.
Everyone loved their food, and those who got non-German dishes said they were amazed at how delicious those dishes were.
It's a LITTLE pricey, but not by comparison with the other upscale restaurants in the Sedona area. We'll definitely be returning to Manzinita!

Nice staff, good atmosphere, and great food. The soup was clam chowder and it was great because flavors were on point, lots of clams, and very little potato (I despise "clam chowder" that's just a chunky potato soup). The pork shank shown in the pics was as good or better than it looks. All the flavors were great, pork was super soft, and the sauce thats underneath is just incredible. We had brought our 2 year old as well because well we had too, and she was strangely well behaved thanks to the phenomenal food(my wife got a beef dish she really liked, but I don't remember what it was called) . We all enjoyed our meals and will be coming back.
