Stopped here on a whim, as I was making a delivery in the area around lunchtime. I am very glad I did. I got the cheesesteak hero and an Arizona tallboy for a sawbuck. The cheesesteak was phenomenal, served piping hot on great bread. I wish I took a pic, but, the scent enticed me into a devour trance. 10/10, I would recommend. Also, very friendly and fast service. Adding this gem to my lunch spots.

Madaba Deli is the absolute best!

Madaba Deli in Hastings-on-Hudson is hands down my family's favorite spot in town! Me, my husband and kids go there all the time. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm, friendly smiles that make you feel like part of the family. The people there are so honest and helpful they truly go above and beyond to ensure every customer leaves happy.

The food selection is incredible! Their sandwiches, made with Boar's Head are always fresh and full of flavor. Whether you're grabbing lunch, picking up some groceries, or stopping by for beer, Madaba Deli has everything you need at unbeatable prices!

The service is quick, the people are genuinely kind, and the quality of their products speaks for itself. I can't recommend this place enough! If you're in Hastings-on-Hudson, you must stop by Madaba Deli. You won't regret it!

Local deli with a friendly staff and a wide selection of available goods. $1.00 coffee is always a welcome sight. Sandwiches are great and fast. They are always open - I've never seen the store closed. Neither pandemic nor hurricane nor blizzard can shut them down.

Update: They no longer have Lotto. Otherwise, still same great place.

Terrible prices. For the low end beer is not $13. Waaaay to expensive when you can get the same beer at foodtown for half the price. I mean they charge $2.75 a bottle for low end beer. 2.75?!?! Are they nuts? They really don't want business. Beer brings people in, they a lot of times buy other things. But the prices for beer is going to send people walking. It's an insult. It was fine for a while, the prices were ok, but then something happened and they just skyrocketed. Who made that choice? Was it the owner, was it the guy who works at night? Ridiculous. They obviously think that just because the Deli next door is extremely expensive with everything that they can just rise their prices. Greed is all it is.
