I’m very direct . Tonight I had a yen for steak au povre . Bought a couple of beef filets . Abit of marbling and an excellent cut , per Brecht .well , salt , and crushed black pepper , heavy cream , shallots , garlic , voila . Wow

Absolutely love this little market! We were greeted by Jenny , who is a sweetheart. Their meat is always fresh as well as the produce. Great selection on everything in the store. P.S. They have Olive Loaf !!!! ❤️

I was here last year and was pleasantly surprised by the selection and cleanliness. Overpriced, but that is to be expected of a small town grocer, so I didn't mind. However this visit this year was appalling. Upon walking in the entrance, the floor was filthy and sticky. Ok... it happens, maybe they'll clean up at the end of the day. I went back to the meat section, there were steaks that have gone completely brown and rotten. And other steaks that were starting to turn. I decided to grab a pack of hot dogs, they were 5 days past their expiration date. The bags of rolls had so much condensation inside the bags that they were damp. Dry and canned/jarred goods were covered in dust or were sticky. The whole experience this time was awful it warrants a visit from the health department.

Great place to pick up a few items without driving to Queensbury or Saratoga. Yes, it's a bit pricy but you save time and gas. AND don't sleep on their subs and sandwiches. Loaded with meat and made to order.
