I went to La Cocina del Rancho Market where Mrs Helena served me the most sweetest Horchata and juiciest roasted pulled pork I've had in a long while.
The bench seats were clean and the line to eat was consistent.
She and her crew are worthy of bringing the flavors of Mexican cooking to Phoenix Arizona..

Place is great except the food court. The food is delicious. The service is incredibly slow, the people working in the food court don't seem to want to be there, they are unhelpful, and speak zero English, which makes it difficult to order food and then once they know you don't speak Spanish, they completely skip you while you're in line. Just outright disrespectful. It's only when the abuelitas are working the food court. Anyone else is okay. I want to come back for the food court but I feel ashamed to not speak Spanish. Which is completely idiotic. Besides that everything else is great.

I came In to get me tamale I was craving. I stood in line got my order went up to pay for my order. As the cashier names Gretel was so rude as I handed her my 20.15 since my total was 7.15. She proceeded to give me back 12.85 as my husband said hey we hand you 20.15. you just needed to give us 13.00 back she gave attitude and threw the change back in the drawer said wait with attitude proceed to give me my correct change but with attitude. I felt it was very disrespectful of her to treat me this way. I couldn't imagine doing this to a paying customer.

Waiting 15mins at the customer service desk and the person working the desk was standing a few feet away talking to his friend or coworker. Then going outside right after with that same person(the pic)leaving the CS desk again. The lady supervisor was rude and assumed we didn't speak Spanish and was speaking very unprofessionally.

I’ve been coming to this location for about 20 years. At first I was hesitant because the price on pastries had gone up to 99 cents a piece, but the quality of the pan dulce has gone up tremendously. I highly recommend the raspberry filled sweet bread, I ate three in one day and will be going back for more.

When you are barely able to keep up with inflation, the current economic situation, and all the increasing costs of food, this is my go to place! I have shopped here before, don’t get me wrong. It has all that you would need for the Mexican food you know you crave! Making it saves you money and shopping here helps you save money! I only bought $99.50 in groceries here. But I have 16 days of meals, buying 6 packages of 2 large packages of pork stew meat, 1 package of beef Eye of the round flat steak and 3 packages of chicken. Keep in mind, I breaking down and separating the individual dinner portions into frozen ziplock bags for dinner. And buying frozen veggies to add to the meal. I can find all that I need to make it stretch. Even a huge jug of spaghetti sauce was just a tad bit more than 2 individual jars somewhere else, but here $7.49. Now I like to cook and I can make a meal for 2 with leftovers, just by cooking and adding to it, including vegetables, or rice or homemade beans. A good size bag of Mexican cheese $8.99. Canned green chili sauce 2.49 for larger can. Where you shop is a personal choice. Seriously, I go out of my way to shop here. Saving is the name of the game and Mexican food groceries and food to pick up and eat in store or take home. They have fresh sweet breads and cakes and everything you need for those home made tamales or tacos or your favorite home made salsas. And don’t forget the cold cervezas, cause they have that here too! Enjoy!
