Ordered a chicken caprese panini. It was so tasty. But I love pesto so next time, I will order a side of pesto or extra pesto on the sandwich. But the bread was out of this world- very fresh.

A bit of Italy in North Fork, LI! That's what comes to mind when you walk into Lombardi's Love Lane Market. The second thought that comes to mind is that this is the Long Island version of Di Bruno's for all of those from Philly but a bit bigger. Plenty of great food to choose from including a meat counter, cheese, dry goods, preserved Italian vegetable specialties, prepared sandwiches and salads, olive oils, vinegars, condiments, pasta, etc. They also cater I believe so a great place to find provisions for a picnic or snack. Def come here for those reasons!

Their pizzas are the closest you can get to a real authentic Italian pizza. Very different from a NY pizza.
Great selection of Italian products as well.
