Incredibly beautiful space. Be warned that there is a loose, rather large dog! I stopped off to inquire about hours, as I saw someone gardening or doing yard work beside the building.

I parked and began making my way around the building when a dog came running, growling, ruff raised. Only when I hustled behind a big metal something in front of the building and began talking calmly “it’s okay. It’s okay. Good doggy.” Did it calm.

I’m medically fragile due to eds, and a friendly dog jumping up dislocated my hip last year, so that was enough of that for me here.

It’s possible the dog is leashed during business hours, but the building is very near what looks to be the house so I’m not sure.

So done did eventually one around the corner, as I was getting in my car, and said “he’s really friendly.” For me friendly isn’t better. Friendly dogs can still jump.

Other than that, this place looked stellar. The location alone made me want to stop and drink in the view.

Multi generational working farm overlooking the Hudson River dating back to the 1700s serving a wide range of Hudson Valley grown and brewed hard cider. Welcoming staff, great atmosphere, live music … dog friendly! Love this place!

Amazing place. Ask about some of the items around the place - all local. From someone who went to Milton Elementary, I was amazed to see the flooring made into tables, and the St. James pews. Everywhere you look, there’s something new that’s had an impact in this town. The views of the river are immaculate, and the food truck choices are great. Make sure to get the cherry cider. It’s run by one of the amazing families in this town, which is the best part!

After an anxious following on my part via social media, I was able to attend the opening night. The venue is nestled in the Hamlet of Milton overlooking the Hudson River. It offers a nice atmosphere inside with a loft/mezzanine overlooking the inside and outside vantage points.

When I visit a brewery for the first time, I opt for a Flight or two to get a wide sampling of their products. I was about half-way through the flight when I came to realize the beers I had were not theirs but rather from a neighboring brewery across the river. I inquired which beers were available that were LGBC beers and I was told they presently are not brewing--- in fact, it also seems there isn't any brewing equipment for beer on the premises either. I honestly felt a bit duped but I don't feel it was intentional or malicious. They need to do a better job indicating they're fully offering Guest Beers only and are not a brewery but rather a Cidery or Winery.

I did not have a chance to sample their other products in the area of wine and/or cider, but a query of their license via the SLA public query tool indicates this is their primary business given they have a Farm Winery license. This is all fine but it's puzzling to me that they'd focus their manufacturing on one business and name it for after a different one.

I'll likely return again to enjoy the views, the food trucks they rotate through, a guest beer or one of their ciders. My expectations will be properly aligned on my second visit.
