We were told to bring this load here from NC loaded at Livedo under the premise that the load would be worked in the next morning at 0800 in Olivette, MO. We have been waiting at the receivers since 0615 the following morning it is now 1600 central and the last word from the receiver is they will attempt to unload this evening. Had we known that we would never have taken the load which pays hundreds less than the local average. The insurance company does not wish to get involved unless there's a collision or similar accident. We are left with the alternatives of placing the trailer on a secured lot until a delivery can be attempted and getting a rental trailer and suing for damages because 99% of the time the broker does not pay detention. The broker is already arguing over the houly amount of detention and wants three free hours at the rate of $20.00 an hour thereafter if you can get that even good luck. Delta Express Inc. is the broker. TAKE THIS LOAD AT YOUR OWN RISK.
