I accidentally forgot to order my sandwich as gluten free. When I went up to ask to order and pay for another combo and they told me not to worry about it and got me another sandwich for free. They even let me take the other one to my husband. They were so kind about my mistake and it was definitely above and beyond. Thank you so much!

If I could give zero stars, I would. The last couple of times we have been at this location has been disappointing. This time, our sodas were PACKED with ice. Looked like iced tea (supposed to be Dr. Pepper)and the flavor was not right. We had went through the drive through, so we parked and went in. We informed the staff there was a problem with the soda, and just replaced ours at the self serve fountain. The soda machines may be running low on syrup or are not mixing right because even what we got on our own was a little off. At lease we had less ice.
Our last visit here, we were told how the next time there would be a $5 reward available. When we ordered this time, no reward. I didn't think those expired, and it has been less than a month since we were there.
Overall, Lion's Choice has went downhill big time. Not just at this location. The portion sizes are laughable. Dine in, you get a small handful of fries. Drive though, not much better. We are not big people, but even to us, the sandwiches seem tiny. Shrinkflation? These portions don't cut it. Also, whatever this plastic basket thing the food is served in for dine in is STUPID! It's not the sort of thing people care about and its non impressive. I'm sure they do that to get away with the smaller portions. The overall quality has gone down. From the buns, to the fries. Meat has stayed pretty consistent, other than portion size. Use to feel we got a good value for our money. Today for 2 cub meals, and 2 number 1 originals was $37.97. For not much more, we could have ate at a higher end dine in restaurant and got a better meal. I remember years ago, Edwardsville had a lions choice right next door to where this location is. I wouldn't be surprised if it's on its way out again. This was one of our favorite places. Now, I don't think we will be back.

From the moment I parked and walked in dining room, I knew I was going to go home with some delicious roast beef. Visit this semi-local restaurant, meaning it is a franchise... But still has wonderful food before it goes Nationwide. I have always had wonderful experiences at Lion's choice, and today was an excellent example of services done correctly. From the cashier who took my order, to the person who delivered my food... Ensuring I had my vegetables. Thanks!

They didn't cook the meat and gave me old fries 😭
I came just the other night and was driving late and ordered a large roast beef and noticed it tasted different and my sandwich was cold and the bun was soggy and was not toasted. I had to pull over as I was eating on my way home and saw this! The fries were extremely hot but it was really hard as if they were putting it too close to the heat lamp and baking them to serve longer instead of making fresh fries this is poor food handling and disgusting.

This location has gone down in quality drastically the past few months. Issues from my past two visits a week apart. The staff appear to be under trained and a no care to be there attitude. This location used to be the best, no issues, everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. An overhaul is needed.

Visit 1
-The drive through employee was unaware of the menu items and had to step away from the mic to check with someone about simple alterations and come back. (Requested gluten free bun, they responded “uhhh, what’s that? I’ll check what that means, I’ll back right back”)

Visit 2
-Roast beef incredibly overcooked, chewy, and fibrous
-Chicken tenders overcooked/over fried to almost burnt, and no seasoning. Very bland.
-Remix sandwich was only cut halfway through, leading to ingredients falling out when picking up

The quality at this location is not consistent. One day it's delicious then next I wouldn't feed it to my dog. Went in last month and got 2 king meals on gluten free with extra seasoning and a cheese cup for our fries. Started eating the fries on the way home, they were cold and hard and actually broke my tooth. Took me a second to realize what had happened horrified I stop eating the fries unsure what to do I started eating the sandwich instead only to find it inedible over cooked no seasoning and tasted off. Horrible experience and no compensation for my broken tooth that's gonna cost me $1000 to fix.

The service was okay. The food was okay. Not like it used to be, but okay. My complaint is the portions. Looked more like a kids meal! Very little beef and very few fries. My wife and I got the same regular sized $9.99 meals.
Ridiculous! Not a good value at all!
I can understand cutting portions, but wow!

Brand new place, it’s obvious the crew is still new as they made minor mistakes on our order, we’re confused about my order even when I was at the drive-up window to pay for it (apparently the two seemed to argue a little). Outside of a bit of a delay getting in (new place lots of excitement) we got our food and headed home.

I’m happy to see a gluten free bun available (wife has no choice but the best).

Kids enjoyed their meal a lot. I enjoyed it, bun was a little soggy and either they were in a rush and piled the food funny or I got shorted (see pic) but they did make mine medium well as requested.

We’ll return again, fully understanding they’re still getting started.

I liked the design at the order box, unsure if it will provide any actual cover during weather..
