I used to live in the "Yellow Farm House" with my family for 3 years from 1968-1971 while in High School. At the time that whole area was all farmland. The address was RR1 box 235A. The Farmer that farmed that whole area was a man named Bookwalter. At the time it was a 5 bedroom, 3 Bath home. After the War, I moved to Florida, but have been back a few times since.

We were expecting to go out and pick apples from the trees. But when we got to the farm there was no one at the farm. There was a small strore. Cusormers were supposed to pick a bag of apples in the refrigerator. - $6.50 for five to six apples. The customers were supposed to self pay to their credit card machine. Worst experience ever. Very dossapointing. Greedy farmers completely took the joy out of our fall outing.
