I was expecting to go apple picking with my mother and sister and was actually looking forward to getting fresh apples and beautiful pictures with my family however when we got here it was nothing but disappointment. The second we walked in all the apples were on the floor none on the trees to pick. I had wished that they closed down or waited to open until their were apples promised on trees and not rotting on the floor.

2 weeks back we were there with our family. No entry fees or anything. Just pick your apple and buy if you want to.

The prices are decent and the people running the stand are very nice. The line moves quickly. The orchard is well kept. I highly recommend them. Just walk in and buy whatever you pick.

It's always enjoyable to go apple picking as a family. Lewins farm is one of the best locations on long Island. Trees are well maintained and not so tall that younger children can reach the apples. I went in late September and were a little surprised that many trees were picked over near the entrance. But you can find bgood apples as you explore further into the farm. Would have given 5 stars. But the price per per pound for apples was about $1 per pound higher than normal.

We had good time doing apple picking today. Quite a few varieties to pick and the filled are large.
If there is sign labels each type of apple that it helps better tasting, which could be better.
Overall, it was very good experience.

Went picking with my girlfriend and we had an awesome time. Nice well kept orchard and friendly staff apples where $2.25/lb when we went. Would recommend for people of all ages. We made an apple pie with some of the apples and it was a big hit.

Called to verify that apple picking was available and open. Orchard was difficult to find. There was not a map provided and there were no signs. The people at the entrance just took our $8/per person with no direction. We spent 30-45 minutes looking at bare trees or rotten apples. Finally, when I was ready to give up and leave (we had literally found 4 small but not not rotten apples in that time), my boyfriend suggested that we walk all the way to the farthest corner. We finally found apples! This experience would have been better if there was the slightest direction as to what apples were where and what was still on the trees. Last thing, we have a dog and I left her in the car with the windows down (it was a beautiful 60 degree day) but there was a dirty diaper on the ground! Disgusting. I can’t believe that a well behaved dog isn’t allowed when there are dirty diapers just laying on the orchard.

We wanted to do some apple picking and we stumbled this place after visiting their Farm just a mile down the road. You pick apple are $2.25/lb and they provide you a bag. The orchard is huge. But when we arrived here, many apples were already picked and most were on the ground and half were rotten. Some apples were still on the tree but that’s if you go all the way to the end of the orchard where people haven’t been picking. Aside from that, many of the apples we picked were pretty sweet! If you are planning to do some apple picking, come earlier in the season. We came a bit too late.
