Plantains are raw and not edible. Pepper steak isn’t any good taste old. $100 in the garbage.

I’ve been to Lena's Dominican Restaurant multiple times for takeout, but on Valentine's Day, my wife and I decided to dine in for the first time—and wow, what a difference! The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the occasion, setting a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The quality and attention to detail in the dine-in experience were night and day compared to takeout. The food was absolutely fantastic, with bold, authentic flavors, and their cocktail mixes were perfectly balanced. Our waitress, Genesis, was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.

Overall, we had an amazing time, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious Dominican cuisine. 5/5 experience—we'll definitely be back!

Ordered takeout that was delivered. Great portion sizes, and with 6 orders, it felt like a pallet full of food! Ordered the roast pork, rotisserie chicken, and western omelets. They got the order wrong, and I just received fried omelets instead. Other than that, the food arrived pretty hot, and their roast pork and rotisserie chicken were tender and flavorful. You can split one order for two people with the amount of rice that came with each order.

I’m Dominican and I’m never coming here again. Walked in the spot and didn’t even get greeted, super RUDE employees ! The inside of the actual spot is beautiful but what does beauty have to do with anything if the food is for real NOT GOOD Dominican food. Rotisserie Chicken was legit raw, over seasoned and not good at all . The rice is super hard as well, beans was so so. I can see why some of the reviews are how they are. Natural juices are way too expensive and they are horrible like really the worst juices I’ve ever tasted ! Who ever is in charge of this place ya need to do way better. IM DOMINICAN & I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS BUT YA DOING BAD ! STEP IT UP ! Ps…. I came with my mom and she knew one of the waitresses and guess what the waitress didn’t even say hi or acknowledge my mother or anything ! Crazyyyyyy

Food is quite flavorful, and the atmosphere is festive. Empanadas were hot and fresh, and the roasted chicken was crispy on the outside and moist inside. I'd certainly recommend this place for a night out or a carty-out family dinner that everyone can enjoy.

Wouldn't feed this to an animal. If there was an option for negative stars I would put negative 5. Empanadas were hard and not edible. They were either reheated in a microwave or old. Not one thing we ordered out of a $60 order was edible. All food went in the garbage. "Steak" which was definitely not steak some other cheap dog meat was like rubber. Rice was not even edible. Very disappointed.

Food is good but customer service is the worse, I order online and they didn’t bring me the side order, I call the restaurant and they told me very rude that everything was complete I explained to her that not because we where missing the fries for my chicken parmigiana, after a while arguing she say will send the delivery with my fríes, after one hour call back the restaurant and she says it was on its way but the delivery never came. we used to order every week and i feel so bad about this experience. is been 3 month so far. Hope they see this and train their employees.

The best Dominican food in New York. Called on a Sunday night to see if there was oxtail and to my surprise there was. Ordered oxtail, rice and peas, baked chicken, sweet plantain and every single thing was absolutely delicious. Great pricing as well. Definitely recommend.
